We really enjoyed Dandelion. It’s a nice two storey venue, with the bottom level having a more formal dining feel and the upstairs more bar-like with barstools at tables. The friendly service paired up with delicious food with Asian flavours, and ambience was a lovely way to start the weekend. The potato gems as a starter were yummy but the 1Tbsp serving of yogurt dip wasn’t enough. We wanted more because it was super tasty! Loved the duck curry, the side serve or rice, and beef ribs. Thank you!

I recently headed to this restaurant on a late, busy night and already so keen to go back! The staff were lovely - they found us setting and always made sure everything was okay! The food was on another level. The portion sizes are very VERY generous (easily one between two) and very tasty! I always judge restaurants by their butter and bread and Dandelion definitely passed. The mocktails were yummy and I found out they're halal (only after I left - round 2?) We got the pad thai and fried rice and it was so yummy, would definitely recommend!

I was assured on the phone that the staff are experienced to assist me with my choice of dishes and they definitely were. From when we first stepped into the restaurant till when we finished our meal, it was such a friendly and enthusiastic vibe.We had the banquet meal option. Decided on other 3 course, however, we were assured by very pleasant Patty that we should start off with the 2 course - $70 option and see how we go... and decide on the 3rd course if we needed. Boy, we were filled up after the 2nd and did not need the sweets.Meals were definitely Vietnamese/Thai fusion. I loved the different textures and tastes of the meals.However, I noticed that all the salads that came with the meals were very similar, shredded green mango and Vietnamese salad leaves. Maybe vary it a little.We loved the King Prawns and the Beef Short Rib.Thank you for a lovely night.

We had a beautiful dinner here at Dandelion. We were directed to the second floor for those who made reservations. Depending where you want to be seated, you can view from atop the Karrinyup outdoor food court area or you can sit at the other side where you dine in and view the sunset.We were seated straight away and you were given free salt and vinegar cassava crisps with your drinks. These crisps were big. The picture of the crisps were missing at least 5 crisps as I didn't take a picture straight away before we chomped them down.For starters, we had potato gem fire dust with garlic yoghurt dip and skull island king prawns, smoked pork floss with misfits xo. They were good but could be better in term of flavour balance especially the skull island king prawn dish. The prawns were big, they lived up to its reputation of skull island prawns.For main, we had Vietnamese half grilled chicken shallot sambal with green mango. Red duck curry lychee and nuoc cham sauce. Hot sour salad + grilled cuttlefish and two coconut steam rice. I loved all the main. They were yum. Def loved the coconut steam rice as well.For dessert we had Macau style custard tarts with bay leaf gelato. The tarts were just stunning. They came out hot. Together with the cold sensation of the gelato, it was a beautiful match. Not so sure about the bay leaf flavour tho. I think it would take getting use to for me.Lastly, service was spot on. Friendly, quick and accommodating. The server recommended a few dishes upon asking. She made great suggestions. Overall, it was a great night. We def will be back.

Good vibes, friendly staff, chill atmosphere considering it’s bang in the middle of an alfresco area of a shopping centre. Menu is slightly pricey. A lot of people come for the small platters and cocktails and from my understanding they brew their own dandelion gin.Definitely want to go back there and try out the small platters and drinks.

I was apprehensive about visiting this restaurant after reading the reviews however I was pleasantly surprised on our visit. The service was excellent and so was the food and drinks that we chose with a lot of help from our wait person. The atmosphere was amazing with the setting sun and a warm balmy night. I would definitely return and recommend Dandelion

Excellent serviceGreat stylingAmazing foodWe had an amazing feast here although it was a very hot evening on the balcony. We started with some lovely cocktails, the prawns and chicken and it was an excellent start. The prawns melted in your mouth and the chicken has a delicious seasoning. We followed with the Chinese broccoli and scallop pad Thai, both were flavour packed and very generous serves. Can’t wait to return, perhaps when the weather cools a little!

I thought it was good without being fantastic. Has potential. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, good cocktails.We ordered lot of the menu to try and share amongst 6.Starters - kingfish, prawns and fried chicken. Pretty good start, quite small portions.Mains - grilled chicken, beef shortrib, red duck curry, snapper, snake beans, hot & sour salad with cuttlefish, special fried rice. Good flavours but portions were not great for the price. This needs some attention especially when you're sharing.Check out likes of Chin Chins in Melbourne or Southside in Brisbane for comparisons for that modern Asian fusion.Definitely worth a try. You'll have fun. Good to see something like this in Perth!

Was here as part of 2 tables of around 20 people on a Friday afternoon. We had the banquet for $70pp and sampled all their amazing food. Cauliflower Curry and the Beef Short Ribs were absolute stand outs. Really enjoyed their gin distilled on site in a micro distillery.Great service and friendly staff. Best experience I had in a while!
