Go With The Gecko - Van Ute and Truck Hire

Yeh used them to move . The tail lift was great ,very helpful with heavy lifting of fridges , lounges or whatever you need to move . Do yourself a favour and takeout the full insurance . It is a Truck not a car it's bigger wider & worst of all other drivers . Will recommend to use them . But tech support your better off Googling it. I'm still waiting to find out how to turn on the light in the back . Buy yourself tie down straps $30 from Bunnings & a trolley $40

Was helped out on the phone for a super last minute hire, was organised within 10-15min it’s and when it came to getting the hire with the app it was such a straight forward process when following the instructions via email and app.Highly recommend for anyone that needs to hire a truck/van.

Really easy to drive, pick up and drop off was also very easy. But we didn’t know the aircon didn’t work and so driving in the middle of the day was very warm.

Needed a truck to move & found go gecko. Simply to book & pick up using the app. I did have trouble finding the keys at first but the customer service lady on the phone helped me out. Truck is good condition with a light inside the cabin & lifter aswell. Will defiantly use go gecko again.

Very simple and easy to use app. Lots of pick up and collection locations for local hire arrangements. The truck was in reasonable condition and helped me with my house move. Would be happy to use Go with the Gecko again.

Warning- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYDONT GO WITH THE GECKO!!!I’m always hesitant to give people negative reviews, as words are long lasting and can be bad for business. However this company takes the cake in possibly being the worst experience I have had in my 49 years.All done through an app with code and keyless entry. Great in theory but when they are having technical issues it’s a shambles. Two vehicles and 2.5 hours wasted in waiting for them to unlock it and then fix it because it wouldn’t start we were on our way.It didn’t end there though. We missed our first two furniture pickups and on the third it wouldn’t start again.Eventually they sorted it out again.The whole day was a huge waste of time and we need to hire another van to do what we needed to do today.We stayed calm and asked to be compensated. Of the $134 plus ($200) deposit we were refunded $20A complete joke.Never will we use them again and we will tell others to steer clear.What ever happened to the person behind an office desk just handing you a key!DONT GO WITH THE GECKO

Terrible service. They cancelled my booking without telling me just because I had a Victorian license when trying to book a van in QLD. The phone operator was most unhelpful. AVOID!

Easy to book. Has a lot of steps to do before taking the vehicle but worth it. Truck was clean had minor damage but was good to use.
