Farmgate Restaurant
Very glad I found this lovely restaurant during my stay in Nowra. The prawn and scallop ravioli was my favourite dish, with the rump steak being a close second. The owners were lovely. The only gripe I have was that the restaurant itself was stuffy and very warm - more ventilation is needed.

Upon arriving to Farmgate we were welcomed by the wait staff and noticed straight away how clean and nicely decorated the restaurant was.The wait staff were lovely and the wait time for food was good.The food itself was a little hit and miss for us. We ordered:Entree: AranciniMains: Pork Belly & Prawn, Scollop RavioliUnfortunately the pork belly was what saved the night for us. Although it was not the nicest we've had in the area. We felt the arancini had absolutely no flavour in the balls themselves. If there was no sauce it would of been inedible.And the ravioli was just lacking something vital.And the pricing is quite expensive for what we received if I'm honest.Come the end of the night, the young male waiter was extremely unexperienced on the till which was frustrating as he started off asking if I was paying for everyone (I was with 3 tables worth of people) then when I said no, he asked if I was paying for my table, I said no... then after telling him what we had, he kept insisting I had to pay for the table. After finally convincing him I was not going to be paying for the table and only paying for what we had, he deducted the price and I left.All in all, it wasn't the greatest experience. But I will try again in the near future and possibly have a better experience.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a bit and managed to stop in tonight on a whim. Every member of my family absolutely loved every part of our meal, including the desserts! So much attention to detail and such richness of flavours in everything. The portion sizes were spot-on as well. I think we've found a new family-favourite! Oh, and the owners are lovely, too!

We went for Sunday lunch and is was absolutely lovely.Fantastic food and service with excellent prices.Lovely ambience and nice outlook over the park.A good wine list by the bottle but a limited selection by the glass.

Farmgate Restaurant
We had a great experience at the Farmgate right from the booking process through to the food and service. We were a large group and they accommodated us perfectly. A good menu for all ages and lots of specials to keep everyone happy plus some variety on the drinks menu with some great craft ales and nice cocktails. A really nice vibe and slightly out of the way so a bit more chilled than other more central venues. We will definitely return on our next trip to Nowra.

Came here for a dinner a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and fresh and the staff were lovely. Would recommend if you’re in the area!

Lovely place overlooking the park was great sat on balcony. Staff were attentive & professional. Food & local wines we're very good. Maybe a check on seasoning may have helped. The Pepper grinder didn't work .Bathrooms we're very clean as was whole place. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

If you need a place with a warm friendly atmosphere and amazing food in Nowra, this is it.Meals that you would expect out of a Melbourne restaurant were served with a south coast smile.I think we have found our favorite Nowra restaurant.

Eaten here twice and the food is absolutely delicious with the best service as well! Highly recommend dining here! Can’t wait to visit again
