Dined here last night with a Groupon voucher. After reading some not so great reviews, we didn't have high expectations. Very happy that it actually exceeded our expectations! Yes, you dont get the full menu with the Groupon voucher but there was more then enough to choose from. We started with the zucchini flowers and marinated olives. Followed this with homemade gnocchi and the porterhouse. Porterhouse was cooked to perfection and the gnocchi melted in your mouth. The chef spoke to us about the menu and was very engaging. Staff friendly and helpful. All in all a fabulous meal. Do yourself a favour and give it a try and take the bad reviews with a grain a salt.

We had a 3 course dinner for two. The quality of the produce and sizing of dishes were excellent. However, the cost was high. Be prepared to spend upwards of $300 for a 3 meal for two including wine (good wine list). They have no parking on site or close to it due to the location. Be prepared to walk a fair bit.Service was slow and can be improved.

This is some one the most delicious food you will find in Melbourne, I dined here every night for a week as I was staying in the hotel above and it was an absolute highlight of my trip!Pizzas are beautiful and made with fresh dough, the pastas are also made with fresh homemade pasta and fresh herbs, seafood is fresh and cooked beautifully!All of the wait staff and the owner were very friendly which makes the atmosphere great and service was fast every time!

Had the gnocchi bolognese and the gnocchi 3 cheeses. Absolutely loved both. And the wine bar is just fantastic. Great job Frank :)

How this place is still in business I'll never know. Couldn't get worse service if you tried. Pizza is hands down the worst in Melbourne. $7 deal is the only reason we went, can't believe it is charged at $16 normally. The hot salami* is some type of fake sausage cut into thick bits and is disgusting. 3x pizzas straight in the bin. Will never be back. Dont forget the $6 flat coke in a skinny glass. Absolute rubbish.

Our dining experience felt like a Ramsey Kitchen Nightmare episode. Never again. The owner is prideful, impolite and impetuous. The food looks good from afar, but is far from good - there is little value in eating average to standard food for fine dining prices. Perhaps the restaurant should focus on customer service rather than self importance. Hit and miss - give it a wide birth.
