These guys are life savers!! Our hard drive died, fried, gone... the end...up in a puff of bad Electrical smell along with a black screen! We thought that’s is it! All our data was gone! A basic computer repairer said it was beyond him and a Data recovery company might be a better option... he recommended a few who were going to charge thousands $ for this service! Reboot Data Recovery were successful at recovering my data from a mechanically damaged WD harddrive. It cost approx. $1000. When I received my new WD harddrive with my recovered data it worked once before I had to send the harddrive back. In this case I had to drive from Brisbane City to Ipswich twice to expedite the process. Concerned that the harddrive would not work again I copied my files over onto my computer . Since then I have attempted to access the harddrive and it does not work. I'm concerned that the replacement hardrive is faulty especially considering I have only accessed it 4 times. My previous WD drive work perfectly for years without a glitch until it was accidentally dropped. Due to the cost and hassle this has caused I have been ultra careful with the replacement harddrive. Considering I barely use the HD, only on one computer and remains stationery on a shelf I have come to believe that Reboot Data Recovery have copied my data onto a faulty drive. After a $1000 and the hassle to drive out to Ipswich twice I will not recommend this service. This could have been avoided if the harddrive they provided was not faulty.

Niyi was an excellent and incredibly helpful towards me and my situation! He was the best priced in Brisbane and as a Film maker I have had many troubles with losing data and the soaring prices it costs to fix the issue, but Niyi understood that I was a poor university student and gave me a great deal. He also had it done within 24 hours!When I went to pick up my data there was still a bit of time left on the transfer so Niyi and I just talked for about an hour about business and what's going on, it felt like I was having a conversation with an old friend! After a wonderful four weeks travelling around the Northern Territory, I was devastated when my SD card in my camera decided to stop working on our second last day. After having two different companies review my SD card, they both advised that they were unable to recover the photos. I took the SD card to Reboot. Niyi from Reboot searched endlessly for a solution to the problem, and after approximately six months, he was successful!! Most of my photos have been recovered (some 3000 photos) and I will be eternally grateful that I have these wonderful memories to look back on. Thank you again Reboot and particularly to Niyi.

Reboot were able to fully recover data from an old external hard drive that died with lots of family photos, work files, etc, for a quarter of the price quoted by another recovery lab.
