Seaside Garden Cottages

We had a lovely three day stay at Seaside Garden Cottages. It has four bedrooms and comfortable fits four couples and one of them with 2 kids. The house was very well equipped with toys and movies to watch and a good kitchen with just about everything you could need and plenty of information ab out the island as well. As a parent it has most things you would need.There are other cottages adjoining the property which would easily allow for larger groups.The house is a 6 minute drive to town and is a good cent real place to get around the island. Just remember that things are open on country time basically 9-5 and the pub is closed by around 9ish

What a fantastic way to start our holiday. Just driving up to the Seaside Garden Cottages we knew we were going to be spoilt. The accommodation was spotless, with so many extras , The gardens absolutely beautiful, we really didn't have to bring anything from home except personal clothing. The pantry and fridge were very well stocked with so many goodies. We cant thank Rachel enough for everything.

We spent 5 lovely nights at Kangaroo island staying at Seaside Cottages. We had a group of 15 (4 families) coming together to celebrate my in-laws 60th wedding anniversary, the place of their honeymoon 60 years ago.From start to end, the process was seamless. Rachel was wonderful communicating with us for the many months before our stay to help ensure all guests were comfortable. The accommodation of the 3 residences was perfect for our larger family and enabled individual needs. All three homes were beautifully presented and the little extras f celebratory balloons, wine, dressing gowns were very appreciated. It is certainly a place that i have already recommended and will continue to do so. Highly recommend.

We accidentally lost our airbnb due to KI bushfires and were so lucky to find Rachel and her Seaside Garden cottages. We stayed at the studio cottage which was claimed to be tiny" but in real life it is just great for two people - bright

Hi RachelI just wanted to say thank you. We all had an amazing time on KI. We all loved the beautiful accommodation and it suited us perfectly. It was a fabulous run/walk into Kingscote along the coast each morning. The 3 properties were beautifully styled, the facilities and pantry/provisions were greatly appreciated, the garden was amazing, including the little hidden spots for sitting, the fabulous thought that had gone into absolutely everything - all were faultless. So impressive. We truly loved our stay.We:* swam/snorkeled with dolphins and seals* visited KI wildlife park* visited the Island Beehive near Kingscote* visited the lavender farm* went to Emu, Seal and Vivonne Bays* bought oysters at the Oyster Farm at American River* went to Dudley Wines for lunch and played golf* visited the old prison in Kingscote* went fishing* shopped in Kingscote* went to the races on Thursday (we all had a win)* saw the army camp at Parndana* went to KI spirits for gin and spirits* went to the brewery* had dinner at the pub* bought fish and chips* tried the honey ice cream (yum)* tried some cafes in Penneshaw* went to the Friday evening community fair* climbed the Prospect Hill lookout* checked out some of the beaches along the wayIt was all over too quickly. We still had things we wanted to see and do.Many, many thanks! You had thought of EVERYTHING.

We stayed in the Villa at the end of last year and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. A huge thank you for providing such a wonderful place for a family to stay in KI. You have set up a truly comfortable, easy, no fuss stay. The condition of the property and everything in it was spot on. We loved every aspect, the grass area out the back was so good for dinner and some backyard cricket. It was also great to have such a great choice of toys suitable for both a 4 year old and 1 year old. The sleeping arrangement down stairs with the bed off the side was perfect for us. I have never seen a pantry so well stocked, it made a huge difference that first day when we hadn't got to the shops after arriving at dinner time the night before. My parents were just as impressed on every aspect and how much thought had gone in to setting it up so well. We've all said we can't stay anywhere else now when we next visit KI. Even our son wants to go back there. He actually asked if it could be our home and still talks about the place 4 months on.Thank you also for such superb communication from start to finish. It was always so easy. The extra info provided about the property and KI was very beneficial too. We can't wait to come back and stay.
