Robo-Tek International - Robotic pool cleaner specialists

If you are thinking about getting a robotic pool cleaner, you can't go past a Robo-Plus.I purchased one recently through one of their Pool Shop Suppliers as they had temporarily run out of stock being so popular.It seems to be well built and comes with great features which includes cleaning the floor, wall, steps and waterline and not to mention a remote control too, which my old Dolphin brand did not.It has superior suction and impressive power but most importantly the team at Robo-Tek International have amazing customer service that you cannot fault in any way. Nothing seems to be a problem for them and they will go out of their way to help you.I was hoping to get a plastic rain cover for my new Robo-Plus but they don't sell them at the moment as they aren't happy with the quality and didn't feel comfortable selling them anymore. They found one for me and sent it out for free the next day.Thank you Robo-Tek International. You only sell quality products that you are happy with, backed up by exceptional customer service.Better Go A Robo.

I cannot recommend the robo-tech enough! I use to labour for hours on the w/end cleaning my pool after even after using other pool cleaners.Robo-tech has literally given me my weekends back. I throw it on for an hour and it literally cleans my pool by vacuuming up all the sediment and derbis making the pool look immaculate every time it cleans.Steve is also great to deal with and always available over the phone for any queries. After buying a robo-tech I won't be using any other pool cleaner.

The team at Robo-Tek are just amazing and their customer service/support is exceptional.Their pool cleaners are a very well built quality product, that is designed last a long time. The Robo-Plus cleans our pool way better than any other robotic pool cleaner we have ever owned.I would thoroughly recommend them to anybody looking for a new pool cleaner.

I'm so impressed with the service I received for the repairs to my pool cleaner. Claude called me to discuss the problems with my control box personally and talked me through my options. He was very reassuring and suggested the options available to me depending on what I could afford. Three working days later, my repaired control box arrived back to me. Fantastic service from an amazing customer focused team. Well done!

I left reviewing this product until I'd given it a good test and what I mean by that is putting the robo through is paces through summer and winter here in Perth. My pool is approx 60000 litre, free form concrete pool, with tiles around the edges and in one corner surrounded by palm trees and other shrubs so plenty of leaves and palm debris. The robot copes with anything I throw at it and the pool is spotless after every 0.5 quick clean or 2 hour cycle. What I have noticed is that the unit will occasionally fail and start beeping with the red and green light flashing, so I do is switch it off and back on, reset the time and away it goes again, no idea why it does this. The only thing I would say is that the cloth bag does need a good clean out everytime I use it, it's full of sand and grit. I noticed on other machines they have a hard plastic basket which may be easier to clean. Apart from that the robo beat every other device I tried, including Dolphin, Barracuda, Zodiac, Hayward etc. Don't waste you time with the others, just buy this device, especially if you have large leaves, debris in the pool. The other units can't touch it.

I have had the Robotek for 12 months now. Not one issue. My pool is sparkling. Easy to use and has features you need and use, as opposed to things you might use once, just to try them. My only suggestion would be to locate the connection on the control panel in an easier access place, but that is me being extremely picky. My opinion - the competitors have some catching up to do in context of capability and price.

Super disappointed - did not live up to the hype on either the product or support promises - I have tried on about 5 occasions to get support or to get a refund and have been completely ignored. The issues:1. Stops climbing walls randomly - just stops 1/2 way up the wall and doesn't get to the waterline;2. Metal clip broke securing the cable to the unit so cable is taking the stress;3. The control box warped in the sun and is no longer waterproof / now is an electrical hazard;4. The device gets lost in a square pool! It just loops in the same area and needs to be moved manually; and (most importantly)5. The drive belts were loose after only a year of service. They then frayed and now are wrapped around the gears so the device has stopped moving completely!Avoid this pool robot!

I’ve owned an i120 (now called rob plus) for five years and given robotic pool clearers generally have a reputation for poor reliability I thought it would be helpful to post an extended review.In summary this cleaner has been a robust and easy to maintain unit. I have replaced the rollers and tracks once and upgraded the base plate which was well worth it. The filter bag is still the original!The rob plus cleaning efficiency is very good and it usually covers all my 10 metre kidney shaped pool in one two hour cycle (occasionally I’ll use the remote to go over a missed bit).On the down side, the cord does get tangled so every fourth use I’ll untwist while it is still in the water. The other issue is some will find it heavy to lift out of the pool but I think this is the case for most robot cleaners (don’t get into the habit of leaving it in the pool as this will reduce the service life of of several components)I will definitely replace my current unit with another Rob-Tek unit.After sales service and support is also excellence
