Lake Orr Family Practice

Being a retired RN, I know a great GP when I come across one.Dr Das is well qualified, listens to your concerns and addresses them. He is professional and thorough in his investigations. He and his staff are very caring people.I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

The practice manager does not understand English, so difficult to communicate. My appointment was moved and canceled without any notice. The doctor was impatient and added unnecessary care plans and assessments without telling me in advance.

The best Doctors i’ve been to on the Coast! Similar to most clinics, you can wait up to an hour but it’s worth the wait. Dr Das genuinely cares about his patients and is always willing to address any concerns. Every time I visit, he always puts my mind at ease and I feel listened to. Brooklyn is a Dr or Nurse in training (I believe) and he is so helpful and kind! He always goes above and beyond to accommodate and is truly an asset to the practice. Very grateful i’ve found Drs I can trust

Dr Das is a very caring, dedicated and compassionate doctor, who shows genuine concern for his patients at a highly professional level. He is assisted by his loving wife and a busy but efficient receptionist, who make patients feel welcome and the waiting area is very clean and suitable for small children. My family has been seeing Dr Das since his practice opened and we are all very happy to have a reliable doctor available to us. I highly recommend Dr Das as an excellent family physician.

My experience at Lake Orr Family Practice is very positive. I have been attending there for over five years. Dr Dass is very caring, professional, friendly, thorough and always takes time to listen. He truly takes a personal interest in my health and well being. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I have just read a review about Dr Das and I must say my experience is the opposite of that review. I attended an appointment with Dr Dasyesterday for a very invasive medical procedure that would have been quite daunting if it were not for the professionalism and care that Dr Das provided. He was amazing. I am so grateful for Dr Das. I have been offered aftercare and this is all bulk billed. What a lovely Doctor to offer his services and bulk bill. I appreciate that doctors truly dedicate their lives to study and give up a lot to help us mere mortals. I attended this clinic again today and Dr Das again was wonderfully attentive and thorough. Thank you again Dr Das. I can honestly say that Dr Das has saved my life..20th April 2021. I attended an appointment today with Dr Das and he explained to me what GCUH did not. I am so blessed to have Dr Das as my Doctor. What a star. I was 10 minutes late for my appointment and he was waiting for me.

I just had a call with Sam about my record files for the COVID vaccine as your clinic didn’t reported it online. I NEED this done urgently. He said I need to wait until Thursday when I’m having an appointment with a doctor!!!!!! WHAT APPOINTMENT IS THAT FOR? It’s just an online record and all you need to do is to press a button and send it through. When questioned, Sam HANGED UP THE PHONE ON ME!SO RUDE!!!!! I’m so disappointed and dissatisfied with your attitude. Worst place ever to have medical assistance.

Overworked staff do their best to satisfy ungrateful Australians entitled to bulk billed appointments.People expect a conceiege service here.Doctor is highly qualified.Practise manager is self taught English.Cut the clinician's some slack. Everyone is covid-stressed.

Dr Das is an extreme unprofessional. Never in my life of being a patient have I had to witness the structure of a GP clinic as I have at Lake Orr Family Practice. I was faced with receptionists first (who were lovely) before waiting in the area near reception. What happened next was shocking. I was guided into two different waiting rooms before having to be guided into the doctor’s office. Not once did I see Dr Das leave his office to come collect his patients (similar to other professional healthcare clinics) which, to me, removes the personal touch which doctors create when they do come to collect you.I was also able to witness, who I can only assume to be Dr Das’ wife, communicated HORRIBLY to the receptionists. As someone who has previously worked in a receptionist role in big companies, I can see how it feels to be on the receiving end. I’m unsure on the experience of the receptionists, however, in any regard they should not be spoken to in the way that I had witnessed today.My point is this, as a doctor, Prajwal Das may have the qualifications and clinical knowledge to allow him to be an efficient GP. However, he and his wife (?) have the interpersonal skills of cavemen who ought to be put under review by Gold Coast Health.

Great practice and staff. Dr Das is professional and did as needed/expected. I have received his help for a number of employment requirements. Nursing staff are also very nice. Reception is accommodating.
