Please please please opt to see John before making any decisions to put you fur baby down. We almost made that decision due to one of the younger ladies there being so negative and careless about his care, once the D" day came

Fiona and the Avonsleigh Vet Clinic Team are all outstanding.The care that we received right up until our dog's final moments - was incredible. We had been told by another local Vet that nothing could be done to save our dog and that we should put her to sleep then & there. After contacting Avonsleigh, they suggested and ran further tests and prescribed new medication to give us precious more weeks to be able to spend with our very much loved furry family member. We then felt like all options had been explored and that along with the Avonsleigh team, we had tried everything we could. We spent the last few weeks laying in the sunshine and making beautiful memories with our dog. Time that we will forever remember and treasure. We can't thank Fiona enough for all the care, compassion & understanding that she showed our family during an incredibly tough time. We'll be forever grateful. Thank you guys x

Having been to multiple vets over time, I can't speak highly enough of John and his team. Like most vets, they are dedicated professionals, however saying this, Avonsleigh go the extra mile and them some to offer a practicle, kind and caring service which in my opinion is second to none.

This was once a great vet but not anymore. They are now too busy to provide proper care for their patients. Ignore emails, don’t return phone calls. Staff are exhausted, stressed and overwhelmed. The young vets have limited experience and no supervision. The charges are through the roof. This is the worst vet clinic I have ever been to. I am posting this in the hope that they stop and take stock. We can only hope.

John and team are fantastic. John performed, and saw my beautiful Aussie through serious hip surgery. He now walks and plays like a pup. The team look after my show cats and always go the extra mile no matter how serious or minor the problem. Would recommend John and his team to anyone. I drive 35 kilometres to get there and would travel double that if I had to.

Excellent vet. There everytime you need them no matter what time it is. Update still looking after us really well.

Our goat was fine besides a hoof infection when we first contacted this vet. John came out and gave him antibiotics and a topical treatment which resolved the infection but soon after that he developed diarrhoea. John's solution for whatever reason was a further course of antibiotics. When that only made it worse he prescribed more antibiotics still, and not long after that he was dead. I can't say for sure whether this vet clinic is responsible for his death but I don't know what other conclusion any reasonable person could reach, and the fact that John refused to face me when I visited the vet to speak with him about the goat's worsening condition makes me think he knew he made a mistake. We watched our goat die a slow and painful death because of their course of action that defied all logic

Awesome vets and staff. Spent over &1000 with another vet on tests for our dog without a diagnosis and vet wanting to do more tests. John spent 15 minutes with us and gave him medication. We are now 3 months down the track with extremely diminished problems with our dog. Jodie is also a magnificent groomer. Knows her doggie clients well and treats them all as if we’re her own. Couldn’t be happier

The staff at this vet clinic are amazing. You where so kind to our family and our baby when decisions had to be made..your empathy towards us all was amazing. I am glad we took our baby Sapphire to you although the outcome was devastating to us all, you really tried so hard to save her. We are so grateful for.your kindness and patience.

Couldn't fault our experience here today. They were so loving with every animal I saw them with, the staff beyond friendly. I love a hour away and seriously considering making this vet our regular for our loved fur babies.
