Ex Display Home Clearance

I understand this business sells ex display items at a hugely discounted price BUT that should not mean you get NO customer service. What an absolute joke. I would not recommend to anyone.I ordered an item on the 15th of April to receive an email saying that I would receive an email when it was ready to be picked up. 3 days later I sent an email asking about a possible colour change - there was never a reply to that email.On the 20th of April I called to ask about delivery, I was told that someone would be in contact with me over the weekend to organise it. No one contacted me.On the 26th I contacted the office to ask about delivery again. Yet again I was told that I should be contacted in the next few days to organise it.On the 1st, I called yet again (getting a bit frustration at this point for being strung along with false promises) and spoke with a bloke who said that I shouldn't have been told that though again, I should be contacted within the next week. I expressed my frustration with the process and lack of communication to which I was met with 'Nah all good mate' instead of an apology and that the waits were explains on the facebook page. He offered to give me a refund if that's what I wanted in a very 'we don't need your business anyway' kind of attitude. The fact that I wanted the couch hadn't changed. I pushed on....I reviews the facebook group and could not find this anywhere. Though I found a lot of other people also asking how long delivery would be. Maybe if you didn't want people calling all the time and getting frustrated, more details in the confirmation email would assist with this.I waited yet again and called on the 12th who spoke to a woman who understand a level of customer service and apologised stating that the lady who normally deals with it was off and quite unwell. I was upstanding of that but again the lack of communication was frustrating. I was told that again, this weekend would be the weekend I would get contact to ORGANISE delivery. Not actually have it delivered.You can see where this story is going. Yet again. It's now the 29th of May and I call to just cancel the order as I'm sick of sitting on the floor waiting for a couch which was never explained it would take longer than a new car to receive. I speak with the same bloke who and state I wish to cancel the order for a refund. He says 'oh you haven't been contacted about this yet? We have sent out all the orders from this sale'. I explained my experience and lack of couch. He replies again, 'Ah okay all good, I'll refund it now and give you a call to re-purchase if we find it.'No apology. No explanation. No worries mate.A little bit of advice. If the customer is expressing frustration in a calm but annoyed manner, maybe apologise. Don't tell them it's all good. CLEARLY... it's not ALL GOOD.At this point, the facebook page is no longer displaying, I have received an email saying I have been refunded with no funds back in my account yet and I am wondering if I am the only sucker who appears to have been scammed by this company.DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM.

Amazing customer service always quick to respond and assist. Nothing is too much trouble. Quality furniture and items at extremely reasonable prices. Trustworthy and reputable company. I love their stock

BEWARE of this dodgy business, Ex-Display Home Clearance.We went to their ticketed sale on Saturday 20th May, got there early, lined up, and were given the number 17 - the first 50 got first choice for what they wanted. Instructions were to find the item, take the yellow tag and pay and organise delivery.We bought a dining table and chairs and organised delivery. We had confirmation of delivery during the week and waited expectantly on Saturday for our new table.I rang at 12 to find out where it was and Jill thought it had missed the truck and said that Joe would call back.I rang at 1 and spoke to Joe who told me my table had been sold twice, apparently firstly on the day before the sale (even though Joe had expressly said on his FB page that no sales would be done before the ticketed event).He was very rude on the phone and said basically ' tough luck, I can sell you another one for $1200', even though we had purchased it for $800.We went and visited in the afternoon to get our refund, only to find our table and 4 chairs all stacked up and looking ready for delivery - interesting to say the least!If this is how they do business, they certainly won't have my custom anymore!

After seeing this business advertise on 9 News as a warehouse clearance up to 80% off, I am extremely disappointed! Hardly any furniture and definitely not warehouse clearance prices. Very poor customer service. Travelled a fair distance only to be let down.

Great service - bought a new painting from here on an online sale - very quick process, all info was well described, pick up was fast and overall very happy!

Annoying I have to give 1 star instead of none. Very poor communication. And when communication finally started not helpful and refused to issue a refund. Would not recommend nor would I buy from again.
