When I have IT issues I get stressed. Scott is my go-to for these moments. He's calm. He is an exemplary communicator that talks in layman's terms to diagnose issues and walk through the available options. I cannot recommend him more highly

I had an issue with my laptop some weeks ago and contacted a local IT service company on Tamborine Mountain who attended my house on the Gold Coast to sort out the problem. Well, that was a mistake! what a complete balls up, charged $500 , didn't fix the problem and lost all my current files/information on the C Drive as well as some of my paid programs. Anyway, got in touch with The Tech Doctor, referred by a friend, who incidentally was based in Townsville to try and recover what we could by remote means. The Tech Doctor unfortunately could not recover my lost C drive data but reinstalled that which I had backed up myself on an external drive some18 months ago. He did get back all my programs. Scott is a very courteous individual and extremely knowledgeable in IT with fairly priced rates. If I experience any future issues, I will certainly contact him.My strong advice, make sure you get someone who knows their IT stuff and check their credentials.I highly recommend The Tech Doctor, remote as he is to sort out your computer issues.

Scott has again exceeded my expectations in both building me a new laptop and using a remote access facility to give me a guided tour of all the wonderful possibilities on my new toy. I can’t recommend Scott enough. In person or remotely he always answers right away and solves the unsolvable. From quick 5 minute jobs to all day very difficult problems. He has helped get my emails back and running and even recovered all my files and folders when my computer died and everyone else said it was unrecoverable. I wanted a new computer with hardware you couldn’t buy off the shelf, and I didn’t have the technical knowledge to know what to ask for. The Tech Doctor listened to what I wanted my computer to be able to do and suggested a range of solutions, clearly explaining the advantages and costs of each option. He even asked questions I didn’t know to ask, to be certain I was getting what I wanted. Prior to shipping I received a video file demonstrating the set-up, and after I received the equipment he talked me through the final steps to ensure everything was correctly connected and working smoothly. Plus the optional custom case I selected is a thing of beauty! Knowledgeable, easy to deal with, and great value for money.

Scott knows everything tech and nothing is a problem. He delivered everything within days and had me set up and explained everything in layman terms. Very knowledgable and would highly recommend.
