Miss Nail Bar

I had been going to Miss for many years. I think covid has impacted their staff. Honestly for the price - not a great mani pedi. Yes it’s clean lovely accessible. There was definitely a language barrier. The polish is old and it took two tries to find one for nails and toes that wasn’t too thick or streaky. They thinned it out but it was worse. Less than a week later my nails are all chips and polish is literally peeling off my nails. It lifted the next day. I’m sorry this isn’t what it used to be. It also isn’t comfortable having your nails done while having a pedicure. They also don’t really cut the cuticle despite me asking and toe nail corners were ignored even though I asked twice. Not worth going back. I took care of the callouses on my heels when I got home.

Always love Miss Nail Bar. Their technicians are always very professional and they have a lot of colours to choose from.They do get so busy so do arrive early.They are great with details and small acts of delight as well. It was a little bit cold the other day when I went for a pedicure, and they heat up a heat pack for me to put over my legs.

The best nail salon! I used to come here every second weeks for years until I moved away. Came back today since I'm on a trip to Melbourne and am happy that they didn't change their standards. They sanitise all the equipment, and they are so meticulous with the nails. I will be back when I'm next in town!

What I really like other than the friendliness and overall consistent hygiene practise, is the response by manager/owner Re any reviews where service did not live up to expectations such as nail shellac peeling off. The salon immediately responded with a credit voucher option which says they genuinely care about your experience an their quality of service. Not all businesses do this so if you had an issue follow up their offer to rectify don’t write them off, we all have bad days.

I first visited this place nearly two years ago and was so happy to finally get a PROPER pedicure close by to the cbd. I have just visited this place again today and I can happily confirm the great service and perfectionist standard they set for themselves remains consistent.
