I know Léo Pecanha since 1997 , we were blue belt at the time , Leo is a World Champion with a lot experience with Gi and No Gi , i highly recommend his classes for everyone, kids , adults and women.

Have trained with Leo in the past prior to covid.He is humble, very knowledgeable, takes time and care with teaching his students. There are a handful of instructors in Sydney which are genuine and also have a insane knowledge as a practitioner.For somewhere to send your kids after school, he is fantastic with the kids and you see confidence being built within the kids as they train. Lots of laughter and fun for the kids to burn off energy after school.Definitely worth going to check out the place.

I am so glad and lucky to have found Kronos BJJ academy. I signed up as a member about a week ago and can honestly say Professor Leo is one of the best in the business, his experience, expertise and teaching qualities can not be matched. The space is clean, the timetable is perfect (finally, a place that I can make it to the classes after work) and the convenience of it being in Burwood plaza, means parking is never an issue. They offer safe and family friendly classes for kids all the way up to adults, from beginners to advanced. Highly recommend.

Being someone who always wanted to learn Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, my partner and i happily stumbled across this gym. Not only are you taught by a Professor who is so accomplished and has a wealth of knowledge but you are made to feel so welcome and accepted. There is no room for egos in this gym just Jiu Jitsu. Please dont be shy, i reccomend everyone to step on the mats and join the family!

The kids class is the best thing for my daughter. Coach Leo teaches the art of BJJ but just as important teaches her discipline, self control and confidence. Recommended for kids!

Absolutely fantastic, Professor Leo is an ocean of knowledge regarding Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he is 4x world champion!The new gym will is beyond perfect, full white mats. The gym will is clean and organized, Leo makes sure everyone follows the rules which is great!BJJ is the perfect martial arts for any gender age or body shape!My girlfriend is training as well and she feel safe doing so, her self esteem is improving, so is mine!Perfect place for kids to learn self defense and discipline!If you are a beginner you will be welcomed and taught the step by step, if you have previously trained before come have a roll and improve your game with Leo!Overall perfect!

Haven’t had a better BJJ professor than Leo and it’s clear in the daily high level training why he’s top notch world champ. Leo goes above and beyond in competition preparation for his students. Kronos also has a very welcoming environment where everyone feels included.

Amazing new gym!I have trained BJJ before, but this place is great, professor Leo truly knows how to teach, it's a perfect place for girls to train, the mats are really clean and the place is really organised.If you are looking for self defence lessons here is the perfect place to learn! Everyone is so respectful and friendly which helps on the journey to learn BJJI totally recommend specially for the girls!

Such an amazing gym. From the moment I called up to enquire I was made feel welcome. Everybody who trains here is part of a great community, all willing to help each other grow. Coach Leo is so patient and has to be one of the most decorated and technical coaches in all of Australia. Switch your leather belt for a white ASAP.
