Ocean Side Hawks Nest
We have loved going there annually for past 10 years or so , unfortunately their pricing structure has doubled this year compared to our last visit thus putting an end to what was a yearly event we looked forward to.In extremely hard times currently for families I can't justify paying paying double for what is basically very modest accomadation at best.Im very sad something we loved we will be no longer doing.

Location fantastic, beach and food immediate vicinity, provisions/shopping within walking distance.Staff very friendly and helpful.Tariff reasonableRoom amenities as expected, microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee making facilities, bathroom amenities. Pool area great for the whole family, plenty of free parking.Cleanliness needs a little attention, but being an older motel its understandable.Would I come back.. yep!

Upgraded to a Spa room for 3 nights.Had to get out of bed every night to turn off the noisy, rattling air conditioning unit located on the balcony. AC unit was for the restaurant downstairs.Spa timer wasn't working properly so again, woke us every night.Sign in kitchen area - Wash your cups and plates or we fine you $25"Bed was uncomfortableDangerous step leading in from the balconyVertical blind fell off in bedroom when openedVery basic. 1 Star is for location and the non-leaking roof."

Great hotel and the staff were awesome, always giving you a friendly smile whilst offering good service, rooms are lovely, nice and clean. The rooms aren't big, just big enough to be able to be comfortable. Pool was amazing for the kids with a heated spa that was a perfect temperature and the slide was great. The hotel is attached to a remarkable restaurant and a pub that has a talented local singer on some nights. Fantastic experience for anyone that wants to visit Hawks Nest!

Ocean Side Hawks Nest
I’ve stayed at Ocean Side twice now and had a fabulous experience each time. Rooms were clean and spacious, hot tub was amazing, location was great, lots of free parking and the pool was lovely. All of the staff we dealt with were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Price was affordable and reasonable for what was on offer. I’ll definitely be back.

Ocean Side Hawks Nest
Lindsay the owner had fantastic customer service. I called last minute due to some exceptional circumstances and she managed to fit me in. Upon hearing of my needs she gave me a free upgrade to a better room at the same price to better suit my needs. The hotel is what you would expect of a 3 star hotel and did the job but the customer service was great.

Great location, good prices, clean and comfortable rooms. The best feature was the friendly fantastic staff and locals. I have never experienced such a welcoming atmosphere in all my life. I highly recommend a visit.
