Fish and Chips. $40. Claimed to be Red Throat Emperor.What a dreadful way to treat a beautiful eating fish. Tough, dry, overcooked and dripping oil. Chips the same. No other outlet option in town. The caravan park should look at that to augment their cash flow.

The only blight this small town. How do you justify the gouging on everything in this store? $1 for decaf and another for almond milk. Sneaky surcharge on cards that’s not advised unless you question, then stuff is moved to show a sign taped to the back of the counter. Support real locals and use the Northhampton IGA. Avoid the blatant gouging.And then they reply with blatant lies, you decide if you (merchant) charge the surcharge - you are patronising everyone with this lie.

We stayed at the caravan park over the road from the general store. We ordered fish and chips the first night. Red emperor perfectly battered, lovely chips. Awesome! Next time we ordered burgers. I’m not a burger person, but I was blown away by my fillet steak burger! Lightly crisped bun, perfectly fresh salad and steak that melted in the mouth. I am a fan! Wish I could give 6 stars*

Doesn't open until 9am during summer holidays! Watching everyone come and go looking for a coffee. Even when they do open they dont have much ready and are fighting among themselves. Then closed between 2-4 when kids are hoping for an ice cream. Would be great to get a junior in to make coffees and serve during these times, if only during the summer period. Closes at 7 so if you want a later meal, forget it. Really dissapointing for something that used to be great

HB General Store has the absolute best fish & chips in Perth yet. Lovely light crisp crunch batter and divine fresh as F*** fish straight off the boat. I highly recommend.

Awesome general store and like everyone has said a breath of fresh air. The ladies running the show are very friendly and great for this small town. The food was great value, very tasty and very quick. The store was fully packed with everything you need. This is a must for any traveller. Grab the fish and chips.
