What an ungrateful lot of people they are. I had quite a bit of good quality furniture to donate but when they came to collect it the 2 guys were so picky. They even refused to take a dining suite because one of the chairs had a scuff mark, despite the furniture being in very good condition. They left the corner lounge that I had steam cleaned prior to putting it out for them and they refused saying it was out of fashion. They took a dressing table but left the mirror. Other furniture although in very good condition was left behind. Put it all on EBay and got myself $1275.00. Could of been money for the Salvos but instead I have donated the money to Vinnies. At least Vinnies appreciated it. I would never donate again to such a pathetic charity that seems to just want to make money and not help people. I’m sure someone with no dining suite wouldn’t mind a scuff mark on one of the chairs. Your loss Salvos. It looks like greed got the better of you this time.

My mum was giving away some beautiful furniture thinking the salvos were a worthwhile charity. The driver picking it up was rude, dismissive and he refused to take the beautiful 2x 2.5 seater leather recliners due to 1 or 2 very minor scuff marks on one. They wouldnt take the one in perfect condition because he was short on room in his truck. Even if they sold them for $50 each that is a profit for their charity. With the cost of living out of control, so many families would have loved this type of quality furniture.If your looking for a worthwhile charity to donate your used goods to, look elsewhere.

This is actually 2 stores on the same premises. One is bargain basement where there are no price stickers and the second shop is their more up market shop. I have found lots of kitchenware here. They have the space for an enormous range of furniture, all of which is in excellent used condition. It’s nice to know your money goes to good deeds in the community. I found some brand new Country Road shoes, a Canadian crystal cat and a beautiful aqua throw and cushion!

Huge salvo store based in Michinbury, right off the great western highway. Has lots of items ranging from 2nd hand items to discounted overstocked goods. Usually lots of people here every time I attend. Good parking.

Pretty good. Large range. Clothes are affordable. Not overpriced but also not cheap

Friendly and helpful staff.. stock lately seems to be b and c grade clothing.. ..not many brand names any more.. .mainly fast fashion.. used to go for some great fashion.. but it's changed I feel.. staff are lovely though

Better off going to Kmart or elsewhere and buy new things! This mob are thieves! $10 for an old dirty bowl n the exact same thing is $5 @ kmart. Filthy stinky quilts $15/$20 - kmart same price and new! This stuff is donated. You would have a much better turn around on stock by having the prices cheaper! The 2nd hand shop at Plumpton is way cheaper than this mob. I understand your not there for the greedy but your the greedy ones with disgraceful prices like this! I'll be dropping all my awesome stuff elsewhere from now on!

Great salvos. Well organized and have lots of thing you need. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to find a bargain.
