I've had 2 experiences here:First time I went in and had the guys install the catch can on my car because my wife doesn't like letting me loose with tools (fair). The guys did a quick job, but also a very neat and tidy job. Very happy.Second experience was a click and install Fulcrum suspension job. Same story; nice and tidy job, everything double checked and the guys on the desk were only too happy to have a chat about the work done and answer any questions.

They were very friendly and understanding.They explained things even when I rang up to book my car in.I also recommend these guys to anyone who owns a Jackaroo because they have the right diagnostic machine for them (I own a jackaroo)

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO ELLIOTT AUTOMOTIVE!!I took my car to this 'mechanic' to get my car inspected for registration as i was new to the state. They gave me a long list with things wrong with it. Charging me just under $2000 to fix the 'issues'.However there was nothing wrong with it as i had a few mechanics expect it again.Worst mechanic in Devonport!

I phoned just after midday with my car acting oddly and throwing odd faults/alarms at me. They were able to get me in straight away! They were very honest with the limitations of their expertise (as the faults may have required specialist attention), but were happy to at least diagnose the issues for me and give me recommendations. Three hours later, and everything was back to normal! As someone who was on a road trip from the mainland, and on a time crunch to get back on the Spirit of Tasmania, I was incredibly thankful!

Elliots are the mechanics of our choice even though they are 3 hours drive from our home in Hobart.

Great service! The staff went above and beyond to get my 2 inch lift installed on a day where everything went wrong. Great communication and a fantastic job done. Thanks again to the lads for all their hard work and for staying back after knock off to get me back on the road
