Brilliant meal with great table service but I was dumbfounded when I asked for the receipt after I paid. The person who processed it told me to just look on the screen so I laughed it off by saying the font was too small, too which he replied with it's just going to go in the bin"". I was shocked but I said told him that I keep my receipts for a month

1st trip (sometime in March 2023)- Food was amazing. Ordered the:1) focaccia (highly recommend!!)2) octopus (highly recommend!!)3) lamb neck4) squid ink pasta- The only low rating I would give was for the squid ink pasta which was way too salty for our liking- The service was exceptional by the way and the staff even compensated the saltiness of the pasta with a dessert- Would give a 4/5 stars for it2nd trip (April 2023)- Food was really poor. Had the:1) focaccia (somehow did not taste as great as the 1st trip)2) octopus (highly recommend still!!)3) lamb neck (the sauce was too salty)4) gnocchi (nothing great)5) burrata with beetroot (above average, would recommend!!)6) beef cheek spaghetti (too salty and disappointing)- Would give 2/5 stars- the service was still amazing which makes up for the food quality / taste

A great little place. Well priced, tasty menu. Big wine list. Friendly service. We had the cured meats ($21), sour dough ($6), burata ($18), lamb neck ($27), gnocchi ($21), octopus and bacon ($16) and panacota ($10).

I just don't think this is our sort of place. We were sat right at the entrance in front of the open door and the night air was very cool. No one seemed to notice that I was very obviously cold.We got the run down on the menu from one staff member and then a second one came and told us all about it again. We had to ask what alcohol free drinks there are. I know these guys are very proud about their wine list but it's 2023, lots of people are looking for alcohol free options these days. When our drinks came they were not what we'd ordered and we did not enjoy them. We didn't say anything because we thought we'd misunderstood the explanation of the drinks. It wasn't until we heard the non alcoholic options being told to someone else that we realised it wasn't us who'd misunderstood. The venue is set up really weird but I get that it's a small space they are trying to make the most of. However if you're going to have your kitchen smack bang front and centre in the middle of the dining area maybe ask your chefs not to have loud obnoxious conversations the entire time they're working. One of the chefs would not shut up and we could hear every single word he was saying. It stopped us from being able to have our own conversation. Also, if you're going to have a menu that's designed to share it might be good to have tables that are designed to hold many plates. It was so awkward to find room for our main dishes and the plates we were eating from. The food was ok. It all felt like it was trying very hard but not quite getting there. Nothing quite lived up to its promise.Overall, while we appreciate the effort that went into Cosy Del's, we didn't enjoy our experience. We really wanted to like it but it's not for us. We won't be going back.* EDIT: we also didn't get the olives we ordered but on the plus side they didn't try to charge us for them either.

This hole in the wall, open kitchen style restaurant was such an intimate vibe. Staff were super attentive, food & wine selection were like a warm hug. Entertainment included with 3 power outages in a 3hr sitting. Absolutely loved this spot & will definitely be back for more. Belissimo!

The food was *chefs kiss*. A lovely little neighbourhood spot with scrumptious food. My fave was probably the fillet carpaccio; the combination of everything put together was just delicious – will be back even if it’s just for this!Only critique would be that the music inside the restaurant was too loud that I couldn’t really hear my partner across the table (a little issue when you’re hoping to have a romantic dinner out or maybe we’re just getting old). That being said, service was great and everything from starters to dessert was delicious. We still left feeling very full and satisfied.

Great food and atmosphere. Would’ve given a better rating if the waiter did not forget our water and wine that we ordered multiple times. Great experience overall

Really enjoyed our night at Cosy Del’s. the staff were friendly and helpful with wine suggestions and the food was delicious. They had a decent selection of wines which looked to be primarily of Italian origin. The menu is well selected and I’d consider it a small selection but done well. In my opinion this beats out places which have large menu choices but aren’t done as well. The vibe of the venue is genuinely cosy, with an open kitchen and exposed brick which matched the mood of our night. Would come back here again, especially since it’s in the neighbourhood and parking was easy.

All round sensational. Every dish we shared as a group of 5 was absolutely delicious, and well crafted. Many choices for gluten intolerant peeps. Great wine suggestion by waitress. We had the early seating and they were very busy by the time we left.
