Valley of the Waters Track

A recommended walk and easy enough for kids.

Definitely some nice scenery of waterfalls going through this track. However, beware of the walk back. Would not recommend going too far down, especially if you are unfit, it is not for the faint-hearted.

Did the Natures Track, amazing mountain and waterfall views. It took half a day and the tracks were easy to navigate.

Tough , steep walk, but extremely beautiful and very quiet

Great day for a fantastic walk in mid August/ Winter. Started the Nature Track at West St Wenty Falls and took in Edinburgh Castle Rocks and Lillian's Glen (gorgeous spot exploring the creek and rock hopping). Detour to Valley of the Waters Track / Empress Falls it was so worth it (even with the staircases and heights), probably the best watetfall I have come across in the Mountains...and it hadn't been raining for quite some time (when we did this walk) so you can only imagine the power and flow after a good downpour. Then on to Empress lookout and Queen Victoria lookout before the climb to the Conservation Hut and then the walk back to the car along the Nature Track

Spectacular variety of walking tracks in the region. Ranging in length and difficulty. Amazing views of the valley and vast expanse of the Blue Mountains. Take water, limited facilities along the way.

I recently hiked the Valley of the Waters in the Blue Mountains and it was an absolute delight. (I may have ignored the do not enter sign).The intensity of the hike was just right - not too easy but not too strenuous either. It was a perfect mix of inclines and flat stretches that kept me engaged throughout.The scenery was breathtaking - the views of the surrounding valleys and the cascading waterfalls were just awe-inspiring. The entire trail was surrounded by lush greenery and it was a real treat for the senses.Overall, the Valley of the Waters hike was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Blue Mountains. The scenery is stunning and the hike itself is just the right level of intensity to make it enjoyable for all fitness levels. Few spots to swim and admire the waterfalls.Familiarise yourself with connecting tracks, start and finish points to best enjoy your hike.Would definitely be back.

Defenitely a recommeded spot. As you admire the landscape while walking down to reach the waterfall, make sure you have some water and your swimming short on! You can then dive in the little pool at the bottom of the waterfall and also do few jumps ! Lots of fun !!
