This was the first stop on our self guided winery tour, our plan had been to get a bottle from each of the wineries visited. The wine was so delicious that we left with four. The experience was honestly next to none. It felt like visiting very knowledgeable family friends, not simply a wine tasting. We went to all of wineries following the usual tour group circuit. They were lovely of course, but could not hold a candle to this beautiful spot. At the end of our day, we decided to go back to get another 6 bottles as we just could not help ourselves. Again it was a wonderful and warm experience. So much more than an exquisite winery! If you can only make one stop while visiting Daylesford, make sure it is here as you will not regret it.
