French Cooking Academy

The perfect place to learn the foundations of French cooking! I loved doing this course. At home is great as I could spend as much time as I be wanted, and go at my own place. Stephane was born to do this job! He's great in front of the camera and had excellent attention to detail, nice background info to the dishes etc. There's a lot of great home-style dishes to cook from scratch. You would get as much out of this course as you put in so be prepared for quite some time in the kitchen and you will learn some great skills and knowledge.

The French Cooking Academy is outstanding. I have followed through their initial course and I'm now embarking on the saucier course. The amount of detail and encouragement is exceptional. I particularly like the little interludes into French cooking history and the way in which French Cooking is treated holistically. Stephane is a master of his art and breaks everything down into achievable steps. I would not hesitate in recommending the School to anyone interested in cuisine.

I have cooked for over 50 years and have taken many classes. This is the best one yet!!!!! Clear and concise, the videography is superb, I will be taking more. Be well, live well, and eat well.

Since I have begun watching Stephane's presentations a few years ago a few things have changed in my life. Firstly, I was diagnosed with Diabetes Type-2 six years ago. I found a good nutritionist who told me the best route to healthiness was making all my food from scratch and some exercise. I followed her plan and lost 80 pounds. My diabetes is well under control now. Sounds like a lot, but, I attribute this success in great part to Stephane and his demonstrations. I had always thought that French cooking was an unattainable skill, but he showed me not only how I could eat well and without difficulty but how to save money as well doing it. I saw the practicality of French cooking and learned to make something out of anything in my kitchen's cabinet. Sauces are now easy for me to produce and I have wowed a few friends with simple, yet delicious recipes. I also practice what a lot of French practice and I only buy for today and tomorrow instead of filling my refrigerator with $400 worth of groceries. By doing this simple practice I keep my food costs down and my kitchen free of clutter. I can also now enhance and take chances on mixing up recipes and adding things here and there and now my palate includes Moroccan cuisine, Italian, Spanish, Mexican, Cuban and Puerto Rican dishes. Lastly, and I think maybe most importantly, with Stephane's inspiration, I have begun teaching children how to cook for their families. I find some friends and I will have a Saturday to show them how to make a fricassee or pork chops, ravioli and asparagus with a delicious mushroom sauce and a simple, yet elegant dessert. Stephane's interest and simple instructions have made me confident in my cooking to the point I love to share it with others. I highly recommend his YouTube channel and will continue to rave about him for some time to come. Thank you, Stephane. Merci pour tout!

I have been following Stephane's weekly recipes for a few years now. He has a great delivery and clear passion for French cooking. He is also a fantastic teacher, I have enrolled on all of his online courses which are thorough yet easy to follow and an enjoyable way to learn with helpful step by step guides. Just brilliant! The courses are great as the are 'evergreen' with updates. I often go back and watch while cooking.

This course is life-changing. It gave me multiple reasons to get very organized. It truly is so inspiring. Stephane has decoded the algorithm to making French food and his approach is very logical and very helpful.The videos are shot with such high quality and the audio is great as well. Their support is excellent and I had an issue that was quickly resolved.I can't say enough great things about Stephane and the French Cooking Academy. I haven't even finished the course yet. Right now, I am learning how to organize my kitchen.There are a ton of amazing videos. I would suggest that everyone get this course as it is such a great deal for the price! The course itself is very informative and educational, providing detailed steps for each recipe. The instructor, Stephane, is both fun and interesting to listen to and very good at explaining things clearly. He is very engaged with the class online and quick to provide feedback or answer questions.
