We engaged Birdblack to design and project manage a bathroom and laundry renovation. The design process was very efficient and we quickly homed in on the look we were after. The build by Mitch at Lucid Builders went smoothly and we were very impressed with his high standard of workmanship with Stuart, Alex and Sarah making sure that nothing was overlooked. We are very happy with the end result and would have no hesitation in recommending Birdblack for similar projects.

They responded to our brief very accurately but also suggested some alterations and designs that we wouldn't have traditionally selected which worked and ended up as real features of the home. We initially engaged Birdblack Design to help finalise colours and material selections for our new home. We were initially a bit unsure how that would go, because we lived interstate and could not easily meet up with Sarah and the team. Distance proved not to be an issue at all. With samples sent to us, lots of phone calls, emails and Zoom meetings, we sorted out everything. Sarah was very easy to work with and always provided honest feedback. We were so happy with the service that we then engaged Birdblack Design to specify and source all the furniture for the home. They managed the whole process, which proved to be a life saver, because Covid-19 came along and we couldn’t even travel to the house. Sarah, Stuart and Rachel were engaged to redesign our large open plan kitchen living and dining space. As with a lot of renovations one thing led to other and we added the master bath, laundry and floors to their brief.The design is everything we have always wanted. We were thrilled with the whole design process it was timely, professional and above all, easy.We did not make one change to the design. I am usually very ambivalent when choosing anything let alone a whole house design but I couldn't believe how bang on brief the Birdblack team were.I will never again struggle through making choices for my home.
