Melbourne Clay

Melbourne Clay is located in the beautiful surrounds of Abbotsford Convent, this is the only highlight. I did an 8 week program costing over $500++ in Feb -March 2023 and it was a frustrating experience. I had most of my pottery pieces lost with no explanation. Every week I would look for my pieces, with no results. I had 5 weeks of missing work; each week I was told it will turn up the next week, so I would spent considerable time each session looking through all the pottery works trying to find my fired pottery but yet again another week and no fired pottery. In total 7 pieces from different weeks never turned up and with no explanation. In the last few weeks I eventually had 3 pieces fired and I waited from March 22nd until 26th of April which was 4 weeks after the program ended to get them back from firing. Melb pottery prioritised a private large group's firing and we were left leaving the program without our pottery. Overall, very frustrating and an unprofessional experience.
