Staff are always friendly and welcoming; they always provide helpful advice and strive to make sure I have a good experience in store. Their printing services; be it the self-service or help desk; are exceptional. I have printed many times and I keep returning because of the reliability and trustworthiness! Thank you to the staff for always doing an excellent job, you make this uni student very happy! :)

Went in to buy a phone. At the checkout I asked to have a look at the package as I noticed the seal seemed to be broken already. The guy at the checkout told me they won't allow me to inspect the package due to their policy and assured me the package was not opened before.Guess what, I found the package had been opened before. Really disappointed and frustrated. Won't buy any electric devices from this Officeworks anymore

I went in to quickly grab an item and saw that the service counter was not attended by any of the employees, so I lined up with everyone else at the printing counter. It was about a 10 minute wait.As I approached the front of the line, the employee gave me attitude saying that I should’ve gone to the other counter. In response, I told her no one was there. She then gave me attitude again and said “there would’ve been if you went”. I brushed this off because I just wanted to get out, so I didn’t take my receipt.At the exit the employee stopped me at the door and asked if I had paid for the item, which is fair. I told him I didn’t take the receipt, but I can show him my payment details on my phone. In response, he refused to see it, then snatched the item out of my hand as I was finding the statement on my phone. He then proceeded to ask the counter through the Comms while waving the item around. I stood there, waiting for him to give me my item back for almost 5 minutes.What should’ve been a quick five minute shop turned into a 15 minute shop because of the way the employees treated me

Tried to download my photos on their machines but only a handful came up. I tried several times to get all my photos. I was frustrated. Went to the next machine and the same thing happened. Spoke to staff with a young Black hair girl (MADDIE). She didnt care about the issues I had. I asked twice for her to show me how to do it on their machines. I got told NO twice. She told me to send emails and then do that and do this. I said I should be able to use the machines. She was so rude that when I spoke to manager about her he was really not concerned about her poor behaviour. He failed to believe the situation I had been in and it seems he wanted to back her up. I asked if he heard the conversation between MADDIE and I and he said no. I then said how would u know what went on if he was t there and then I said I will be making a complaint to head office and I needed her name. The manager refused numerous times. I told him I will take a photo of her if I don’t get her name. I repeated it several times and he softly said her name is MADDIE. Keep away from this person who is rude and disrespectful and won’t do anything to help. MADDIE needs to be sacked and if I were her manager I would send her packing. A lady who came by said she will never go to Officeworks again to print photos and she now goes to Kmart in Burwood. I will go there from now on

Bought quite a few odds and ends here even though it's further from me than the Doncaster store. Just across the road is Bunnings, Repco, a Chemist Warehouse etc as well as quite a few other stores. Staff seem to know where everything is if I can't find it and shelves are well stocked. Very small, tight parking area at the front of the store but there is substantial parking down the ramp under the building.

Braedon was extremely helpful!! I needed a hard drive, he explained all of the options and went out of his way to assist me! Great service :)

New bookings policy for printing sucks. It is ridiculous that we need to make a booking to get some printouts. This stinks of neo liberal money saving tactics from out of touch corporate office types who have zero regard to the customer experience for their employees and only care about saving money.

Super toxic employee serving me at the checkout, called the store and talked to the store manager, the store manager seemed nice. let's see any action will be taken or I will be verbally abused by the employee at the checkout again.Why are women always nicer than men? whenever there is a problem, a man is involved.

Used to go here regularly, staff at photo service counter becoming rude last couple of times. Staff member Talyssa quite rude & attitude in serving was non-existent. Started serving me, then went to the next person, without finishing with me. Asked for laminating (which i got 2days earlier, nice and quick by that staff member). Now they need 24hr 'notice' and you need to come back. Why was there no notice on entrance that procedures had suddenly changed ? As i was already there, i asked and was told NO, so i asked for a Manager to come. Her attitude was really horrible. After speaking to her Manager, they did end up doing it, but obviously staff standards at this Box Hill store have changed. I will not be going back. I wanted to buy a new printer, but will now go to Harvey Norman.This is the 2nd time something has happened. Last time i needed help with photos, as self help photo scanner didnt scan properly. The staff then were 'too busy' to assist & i left.Harvey Norman always have friendly staff at photo dept.Officeworks has lost me as a customer.

Miserable lady serving behind the photo counter. No acknowledgment of my arrival, despite standing in front of her for some time. Begrudging assistance provided (despite being a help and service desk for photos). Seemed frustrated that I happened to be a customer and angry that I asked to collect photos. Suggest OW improve its training and customer service policies or suggest said employee find a job where they don’t have to interact with paying customers to provide the service they’ve paid for.
