Landmark Medical & Dental Centre - Rockdale

I had few encounters with Dr.Sidrah.Very humble and polite..Very compassionate approach..she did explained every thing in detail and made urgent referal...i strongly recommend landmark medical

I have been in Sydney for more than 5 years now, and my experiences with GP wasn't going too well. I finally came to know Dr. Sidrah Maqbool and I cannot appreciate enough how thorough and detailed she was from the very first appointment. She is far from my place, but I would travel those extra kms to get an appointment with her. She has helped me with many issues, she is such a competent professional and is so approachable at the same time. She gives her time and explain the issues very clearly, leaves no room for doubts and as I said she is extremely thorough in her examination. The atmosphere at the clinic is quiet, with friendly reception staff. I cannot emphasis enough how good my experience has been so far with this clinic and with this doctor.

This clinic has recently introduced private fees for a number of services that were previously bulk billed. While I accept that Medicare is woefully underfunded and this might be what they need to do to keep the clinic viable, what really doesn’t sit right is that of the dozen or so services being charged for, over half these are specifically women’s health services, and not a single one is specifically men’s health. This approach is disadvantaging women, who are already financially disadvantaged by the wage gap. How is it fair that cervical screening costs money but prostate screening is free?I will also note that prices charged in the Rockdale clinic are higher than what is listed on the website.For these reasons I will not be returning.

I found Dr sidrah soft spoken, pleasant, professional and she explained all my queries in detail and an understanding manner to me. Standard appointment isnt enough to cover everything, thanks to her that she booked me each time suiting my time schedule.I definitely recommend her.

I had a great experience with dr sidrah always on time very thorough and explains everything in detail very satisfied with services I had bad experience of long wait in other practices but thankfully I found them. Very happy with Jay receptionist always goes out of the way to help

Just a word of advice to improve this establishment, as I can see it has a lot of potential to prosper: you might want to replace your receptionists as they seem pretty incompetent for what I would assume is a straightforward job. I oversaw drama between a patient and a doctor due to the receptionists' inability to process a form. This incompetence resulted in me having to wait an hour for my appropriately booked appointment. After having asked very politely on 2 occasions to be seen, it turns out my file was opened but not properly submitted" (according to the doctor). Sorry

I was only going there because it was the last clinic bulk billing. They are changing that soon too. Had a Telehealth on Friday, asked for a doctors note, reception said it's illegal to email them. Okay.On Saturday, called and said I want to come in but I have respiratory symptomsWent in on Saturday for care for what turned out to be Influenza A. Hadn't eaten in 4 days and was dehydrated. Had to drive myself there as live alone. Doc didn't order tests, I went to another doc for that. . Told them I did 3 RATs and all negative. Reception told me as long as I've done RAT it's ok. Went in and reception there demanded I go and purchase another RAT for $17.99 from chemist, even though they're free at ServiceNSW and I had 3 negative ones in my hand. I'm about to pass out from Influenza and all they care about is Covid. The sign on the desk said negative test within 24 hours" I told her the last one was at midnight . She insisted I need another one and that they're requesting one "from the last hour now". I argued their signage and what I was told was different. Reception was super rude “yeah we need to change the sign. Ok we’re gonna change it” talking to me like a primary school teacher to a naughty student .So there I paid for the RAT

Trained or not, your main receptionist is rude! Impatient, impolite w/ terrible ppl skills. I’m not surprised about all the poor reviews regarding her. Hire a new one, you’re losing patients because of her.

This is one of the best medical centre I been to.From the receptionist, specially Janet, pathologist, nurse and doctors very professionals and amicable.You can ring up or go online to make appointments which it’s easier.Always on time.They treat you with respectVery clean and nice atmosphere.

I visited Dr Sidrah Maqbool a couple of weeks ago… the experience felt rushed and careless.I arrived to my appointment 5 minutes early but was only able to see her 20 minutes after my scheduled time. During the time I was waiting, there was no one that entered or left her room. I understand that doctors may need to make notes after their appointment so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.However, during my appointment she rushed her examination with little to no care. I had a few things to consult about but was barely given a chance to discuss my concerns.Won’t be returning to Landmark anytime soon, might as well visit Bay Street Medical.
