We live in Bridgetown but prefer to drive to the Shamrock to eat. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly. Service is great. We always have the Beef and Guinness pie and the Lamb Shanks which are absolutely amazing. So much flavour. Servings are big. You will never go hungry eating at The Shamrock. Absolutely recommend.

We came here from our accomodation in Balingup to have dinner. 2 of us had the steak and I had the garlic prawn. Long wait for the food but it came out very tasty and VERY generous portion, could barely finish it. Staff were friendly. Nice pub meal after a few days of walking along the Bibbulmun.

As I ventured into the welcoming embrace of the Shamrock Hotel in Greenbushes, Western Australia, I discovered a haven of delights that catered to both young and old alike. The outside smoking garden area beckoned with its inviting ambiance, providing a tranquil space for relaxation and camaraderie. Amidst the verdant surroundings, conversations flowed freely, accompanied by the comforting embrace of aromatic smoke. What truly sets the Shamrock Hotel apart is its unwavering commitment to creating a family-friendly environment. As I stepped inside, I was immediately greeted by the joyful commotion emanating from the dedicated kids section. Bursting with an array of toys and even a miniature kitchen, it was a little kingdom of happiness where children's imaginations ran wild. The sound of their laughter echoed throughout the establishment, filling the air with a contagious sense of joy and contentment. Now, let's delve into the culinary wonders that awaited me at the Shamrock Hotel. The chicken parmigiana, a beloved classic, arrived at my table with a presentation that hinted at the delight to come. The golden-brown crust enveloped succulent chicken, while a rich tomato sauce and melty cheese elevated it to heavenly heights. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, a testament to the kitchen's dedication to perfection. It was a dish that paid homage to tradition while adding its own touch of culinary magic. The prawn pasta, a true masterpiece, transported me to the coastal wonders of Western Australia. Juicy prawns nestled amidst a bed of perfectly cooked pasta, harmonizing with a sauce that danced between creamy and zesty. The flavors melded together in perfect harmony, tantalizing my taste buds and leaving me with a lingering desire for another plateful. Then came the lamb shank, a dish that exemplified the artistry of slow cooking. Tender, succulent meat fell effortlessly off the bone, basking in a pool of flavors that had been carefully coaxed to perfection. With each forkful, I was transported to a realm of culinary bliss, where time stood still and the richness of the dish caressed my palate. It was a moment of pure indulgence, a celebration of the senses. The casarolet, a rustic creation brimming with warmth and heart, presented itself as a culinary revelation. Tender meat, hearty vegetables, and a savory sauce conspired to create a symphony of flavors that embraced the soul. The exceptional execution of this dish showcased the culinary prowess of the Shamrock Hotel, leaving an indelible mark on my taste buds and a longing for yet another unforgettable encounter.Regrettably, the beef cheeks that held such promise fell victim to an unfortunate mishap. Despite a lengthy wait of an hour, they failed to grace my table. It was a minor setback, a petty disappointment that momentarily clouded an otherwise extraordinary dining experience. However, to their credit, the Shamrock Hotel sought to make amends with a symbolic gesture, offering complimentary beverages as an apology for the inconvenience. It was a testament to their dedication to customer satisfaction and a sincere effort to turn a negative into a positive. In retrospect, the only downside of my visit to the Shamrock Hotel was the extended waiting time. Two hours is undoubtedly a significant stretch, and it is an aspect that the establishment should address to ensure a smoother and more efficient dining experience for their valued patrons.Nevertheless, despite the waiting period, the Shamrock Hotel in Greenbushes remains a culinary destination worth venturing to. With its delightful outdoor garden area, thoughtfully curated kids section, and an array of tantalizing dishes .To their credit, the Shamrock Hotel, recognizing their misstep, extended an olive branch in the form of complimentary beverages. This symbolic gesture of apology demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction and their understanding of the importance of acknowledging their shortcomings.
