We recently purchased a Bosch Series 6 range hood (90cm)2 weeks ago . The item was poorly packet so no surprise that one side of the unit was bent on arrival fortunately easily straightened being light gauge metal . We have several good quality Bosch appliances . Washing machine , Induction cook top and oven . All have performed admirably over the years . The Range hood appears to have several cover strips missing one that covers the unsightly rails that hold the unit in place and another that should cover the 2 gaping holes either side of the unit . The sales brochure shows a flat clean finish. Please refer to photos

Bought a series 6 washing machine. Sent a simple question about it via their website. No reply. Followed up with an email a week later. No reply. We're not off to a good start.

My Bosch appliance blew up tonight and I waited on their support line with the robot lady reminding me how important my call was until she told me after some time no one could help with my call right now and to please send an email. Thanks Bosch

I bought. Bosch Keo cordless garden saw a few years back. Battery is not holding its charge. Phoned to find out how to replace battery. After 5-10 minutes of giving numerous numbers from garden saw and the box it came in, was told that the battery was not replaceable. So the whole tool has to be thrown away and is totally useless. Nothing on the box when purchased indicated this. I am very disgusted with this as a perfectly good tool is useless without a battery.

After dealing with your customer service Snr Manager i am left more anxious and angry with the outcome of what was a simple outcome. I DONT recommend these products and recommend you read reviews first. VERY IMPORTANT.. all reviews 3 star and under are legit customers left like they have been scammed. Shame on you Bosch Victoria for leading the Bosch brand name in such a bad way ... never ever will i buy it again. It shouldn't surprise me coming from Victoria you have destroyed many brands why wouldn't this be another one.

Update 1/7 After pushing my case further it appears they are going to fix this without charge (As long as its not a user fault). Have amended from one star to three. Still not happy I had to push and advise of our Australians Consumer rights to actually get this response.----After 3 1/2 years my Bosch dishwasher SMS88TI04A/01 broke down. No worries it's under warranty right? Wrong. Bosch only have enough faith in their products to offer you 2 years warranty so I'm now expected to shell out over $150 + parts to fix their dodgy workmanship (E-14 Error - Water Protection System). For some reason I thought a dishwasher should at least work for 5-6 years, silly me.

I experienced a fault with my Bosch impact drill that was out of warranty, but which had *very* light use over the course of its life. After an inspection to verify this, Bosch agreed to replace the drill at no charge. This is exemplary customer service, and shows that Bosch are willing to stand behind their products no matter what. They have definitely earned my loyalty.

Average quality tools. I had a set of Bosch 18V LI tools from a few years after lithium batteries first came out, the set lasted about 7-8 years with only one impact driver replaced after 4 or 5 years. This set exceeded its life expectancy in my belief. I have absolutely no problem with replacing tools after 5 years of trade use. I decided to purchase another Bosch set, big mistake. Within the first 18 months multiple tools have gone back for warranty repair, sometimes these things happen. The problem I have is that once sent back for warranty repair they take 3 months to get back! This is what did it for me. If you are marketing tools as “professional” quality with a 6 year warranty 3 months to get the tool back is just unacceptable. Obviously that tool will be required long before it is returned so therefore it needs to be replaced (not with Bosch) and to top it off also sent 18V vacuum back for warranty repair, came back after 3 months absolutely no difference to when I sent it. Only thing Bosch has going for it at the moment is xlock. Definitely not what it used to be

Bosch Australia, I have installed Bosch steam oven CSG656RB1A/57 (9906) less than 3 years ago and hardly use but recently I try to change the clock after daylight saving without any luck. It is so disappointing that one of the electronic button stop working in less than 3 years. I rang your office and was advised that I need to get someone to come and repair and I need to pay as the warranty is only two years. I thought I have paid more for the German appliances so that it will last. I don’t think I will buy anymore Bosch appliances in future. Very very disappointed.

—Read to the end—I am having an experience with Bosch which I’m really disappointed about because I bought a dishwasher and a washer/dryer combo from them because I understood them to be good brands. The dishwasher will not close and keeps popping open. This problem has occurred over about a month and has gotten progressively worse to the point where the dishwasher simply won’t close. We have not done anything to the door aside from normal use. The dishwasher is elevated and no one can sit on it. It appears to have extended about 0.5mm more than it should have. I believe this has occurred over time from normal use, therefore it is a manufacturing problem, however Bosch say it is not the case. The technician who came out agreed with me and said he would be very surprised if Bosch didn’t cover it for goodwill purposes. He used no strength to push the door up and down and extended it further than it originally had been.A $1400 half size dishwasher only lasting for a couple of years is crazy to me.I have tried to call Bosch and was told they would get back to me from a different department in a few days. I called again and spoke to the same person who said she can’t do anything for me as it is not the right department. I left a message and I am still waiting for a call.I hope that I will not be left in the position where I am paying for ‘damage’ that I have not caused by doing anything but using the dishwasher normally in the way it is intended.EDITI phoned again and I managed to speak with the right person. I waited a fair while on hold, but he listened to my case. We had differing opinions on what warrants a manufacturing fault, but they ultimately agreed their was some ambiguity and to fix the problem for me as a goodwill case. My opinion of Bosch being a good brand to choose has been restored. Thank you
