BPM

We purchased an apartment at The Standard in Brighton from BPM. The build was of a good standard, although there was a few things that could have been done better. They were fairly good at fixing up defects, although we did have to chase up a couple.The real bug bear with this mob however is they held their own Inaugural General Meeting where no lot owners were present and entered into a Building Management Agreement and now we seems stuck with a 25 year agreement with a facilities management provider than the owners had no say over.I would be very wary of dealing with BPM and would not deal with them again personally.

My husband and I recently settled on a 2 bedroom unit in BPMs latest development release - Blackfold" in West End Brisbane. This was purchased as an investment property off the plan via a thrid party advisor. Let's say we were very underwhelmed and to be honest quite disappointed on the final product received at handover. This property was sold to us as a high end boutique development with premium fixtures & fittings. It was not what we received. The workmanship was very below average. We assumed a Project Manager would be performing quality assurance checks before handing over the final product but this has either not happened or they have quite poor attention to detail.On the upside

I purchased a BPM unit in Hampton Victoria off the plan in 2013 soon after hand over I discovered various faults which were attend to after me pestering them for a few months .12 months later the stone kitchen bench and splash back started cracking open and again after many phone calls they came and patched up the cracks and sanded it smooth again and it looked ok .2 years later the kitchen bench cracked open again and once again they filled the gaps with some type of adhesive .2016 the stone started opening up again and one of their directors promised me they would come and fix the problem once and for all .I have now been trying to get them to honour their word ever since as the the stone is falling apart in large chunks all over the floor( now have a small bucket full of stones) and the kitchen sink caving in .Finally after numerous phone calls and around 20 emails they have responded telling me they cannot carry out the replacement as they BMP are not the builder they are the only developers and as such they are not responsible but I could try contacting their builders IRONSIDEThe warranty manager at IRONSIDE told that he would look into the matter but now after months of trying to contact him again he is refusing to answer my phone calls and emails .I am now faced with having to take on this replacement myself as my tenant has threatened to terminate her lease as the condition of the kitchen stone is dangerous and very unhealthy.BPM is a very dodgy property developer who does not back up their constructions with after sales serviceI will never recommend them to anyone as they are not trustworthy !Ray GBPM Have finally after 10 years time repaired and resolved my complaint Thank you Team BPM
