The new deep leaning home projects are soo annoying, why am i paying fees for the child to keep them home during school days? Do they not understand that parents work and cannot just keep the children at home. Stupid new systems developed by the principal

Bad school. Wish I could give 0 stars. School doesn’t spend money on students education. Teachers and welfare coordinators are rude and abuse their power. Make you clean school, wipe table etc. has annoying hair cut policy, they don’t allow you to cut under level 2. Or else get sent home or detention. Not enough parking. All good teacher have been kicked out. Some teacher have hit students before or abuse/harass. In general they don’t care about education. Also no kind of electrical devices are allowed to be brought in.

This school is run poorly and the pricipal has no idea about how to run a school in 2022. He still lives in the dark ages with no solutions coming from him. Needs to step back and realize he is there to educate young people and is not running a dictatorship. Poor communication skills and should not be in a position of powers.

Whilst the teachers in Primary school are excellent up until this point (6 resigned last term unfortunately ) the new deep learning approach is total rubbish. The kids don't benefit from that accept from being happy to have a day off school. It would be worse for those parents who both work.High school education has declined. No good teachers or Islamic perspective. And the continuous use of laptops is frustrating. To be on a device all day and to do homework. Seems unnecessary and counter productive.Uniform policy is a bit OTT. And the school seems just out for looks" rather than striving for good education and Islamic environment. We have no say as parents what our kids participate in excursions and extra sports days off campus

I would give them a no star. Absolutely frustrating to deal with them. Deputy principles are Absolutely rude. Talking to them is like banging your head on the wall. School has uniform policies that are ridiculous. Has become more of a business than an educational institution.

This school is not considerate of their students and totally opposes against 'students being the priority '. They hardly deal with complaints against teachers, as they favor them more over anybody else, and do not take into account effort but only the outcome. Unless you want your child to become emotionally damaged and stressed out , then do NOT choose this school. Problems aren't dealt with and their expectations are too much of students, even though they aren't of assistance to reach it.

This school is only good if you want your child to be overworked and really stressed out, and if your child falls behind or does not live up to their expectations you'll be left behind. This school is not good for someone trying to improve their academics and doesn't even take into account the effort for any assignments and overlooks many issues such as hygiene, bullying problems and religious values, the uniform is also inconvenient during summer times; though they do have air conditioning, their needs to be a uniform re-do. Fees are generally acceptable for a private school but the uniform shop is generally unorganised for a school that values uniform so highly. Teachers who are able to actually go out of their way to assist students to meet the unforeseen standards this school places upon its students are for some reason more likely to be fired. There was a teacher in this school who was able to teach well and get a long with students but was sacked over just flat out not being perfect towards what the superiors expected, even though his job was done well? That's just immoral. This school also has a bad job of dealing with issues between students, they always try to use the power of suspension or expulsion INSTANTLY, there is no remorse or attempts towards other solutions and when someone who does something worse than the first person somehow ends up facing a worse consequence? This makes no sense. The school is still developing so there are many issues and inner issues, and racism is another issue to bring up there have been instances where a certain person was trusted more by a teacher within a quarrel just over race this is absolutely unacceptable. GVIC also doesn't emphasise safety to a high enough degree, though this is improving slowly. The teachers need to attempt to be more understanding of student issues and have empathy, the coordinators could also be more pro active rather than dallying over such petty issues and focus on the bigger picture. The gender separation is understandable as this is a religious school but if they're just friends with the opposite gender you should at least have some god damn acceptance? There needs to be better teacher hired and be valued. There are many people who could be doing a better job here. The students are often victimised and feel trapped when they can't get a high enough grade. The positives are the facilities other than the toilets the food tech room is more than adequate and is better than most public high schools, art room is decent but could use better art, Library, Auditorium and Hall" also serve their purpose. There also needs to a better elective choice and more languages to learn other than Arabic
