This is just amazing, you need to ring first to book a tour. it is a magnificent building which was built due to gauge changes between states and collection of customs payments. underneath there are various rooms and prison cells for prisoners of war being transferred interstate. it still has trains roaring through, and is fascinating.

Got taken for a brilliant tour of the Station by the caretaker, it was very informative tour he certainly knew alot about the history of it.Definatly worth the detour off the highway.

Fortunately like others the caretaker came over and opened the place up, very interesting history of political sillyness,huge train station in a tiny town,has toilets and a campground nearby,well worth a look

Awesome place to look around, run by volunteers, they did a little tour and had a good knowledge of the history. Can tour most of the station. They have a mini gift shop with a couple of little bits and pieces.

What a hidden gem this is just off the main highway, nestled on a town that has clearly seen better days and glory.When i visited farmer Jo was taking a few boomer mates for a tour which cramped my opportunity to be immersed in the experience and do some exploring.I note the toilets were open and maintained so there is somebody about looking after it.Just a word of warning ⚠️No boom gate or crossing lights. Just giveway rail sign. Almost did not take note of the freight train that was coming
