The only reason this is getting a 2 is due to the coffee being okay and the customer service being decent, coffee was a bit hot but thats expected as majority of the customers are above the age of 60, but the food was absolutely terrible. Their muffins are usually pretty good, but there cabinet food is terrible. Had a bacon and egg pie today, was really dry and stale from being left out for to long around the edges, and just tasted gross. I ate it, but only because I don’t waste food, no matter how bad. Come for a cuppa and a muffin, but dont eat the cabinet food unless you WANT to be disappointed..

These guys make the best coffee, always smooth never bitter, great service with a smile - been years since I’ve been here and I remember it being this way before, and was great to see the same team with the same service and standards!!

Every time my friends and I are there ... We are treated very well by a wonderful and attentive staff. The goodies are yummy and the prices are OK. Number of elderly and small groups enjoying a bit of relaxation. It is clean, pleasant, friendly and a nice open space. A great little place to return to. Or just stop by the Plaza for lunch or on your way home from work.

Website States Thursday’s 9am-9pmWhen in fact it’s 9am-5:30pm soIn space of 2 months I have gone from Never wanting to go there as I witnessed them cleaning the floor mop where the Food was prepared to my Mrs convincing me to get a coffee from there then Becoming a loyal customer spending at least $60 there a week, back to never wanting to go there again. Disgusting service

I ordered a banana bread. Then when they brought it up, the whole bread was very dark, I thought it might be normal. If it was burnt, the waiter would not take it out to the guests. When I tasted it, I was sure it was burnt! The whole bread was very bitter, I tried to pull out the darker part as much as possible to eat, but I was really disappointed.

I have been coming here weekly for over a year. Why? It's simple: wouldn't you when the staff are not only friendly, but at times have gone out of their way when it looks as if there is no table spare. Amazed how they remember who ordered what without using table numbers.I have never had reason to comment poorly on the food and laugh when I see comments that the person's coffee/drink is too hot. OMG. They must be dying for a drink - go grab a glass of the free water if your parched or cool it to your liking.

I was pleased that my order was served quickly. I think hot beverages are quite pricey (a regular coffee costs $6). My coffee had a very strong burnt flavour, plus it served very hot. Coffee at Pixel(Leederville) is much better and costs cheaper compare to here.

Service is rather taciturn, the young man who served me was not friendly or welcoming. Coffee served extremely hot so I had to wait a long time to drink it without burning myself.Most annoyingly, food isn't served with serviettes. When I sat down the table near me had to ask for them, and then I also didn't get any. Most cafes give at least one per meal? Is there a nationwide shortage of serviettes...
