Wangi and Beyond Houseboats

We have just finished a fantastic family holiday aboard Montego Bay from Wangi and Beyond Houseboats. Despite poor weather, we had a great time. The boat was awesome - new motors, fridge, stove, hot water and sound system. Ros and Kris were fantastic hosts - friendly, professional, accommodating, and efficient. We will definitely be back, hopefully when the sun is shining. Highly recommend Wangi and Beyond Houseboats.

Great weekend away! Two families of four (8 people in total)easily fit on board and the houseboat was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more!). Kris was great to deal with and just wanted us to enjoy ourselves. The houseboat itself is great, well kept and well maintained. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a weekend away (even with small children!)

We've just returned from a weekend in paradise. Roslyn and Kris are wonderful and ensured our journey was perfect from the moment we arrived. The houseboat was fantastic and really comfortable to sleep in. The daily weather and wind updates from Kris was extremely helpful in determining where to stay for the day/night. I wish we were still on board. I can't wait to come back for another trip.

We organised a mid-week overnight escape for our grown-up family - 6 adults in all (2 in their mid-80's). Initially scheduled for August, we were delayed by lockdowns, then bad weather but we finally made it on board in early December.Through the whole booking (and rebooking) process Roslyn was fantastic. Great communication and very friendly and helpful.On the big day we met Ros and Kris at the shop (only a few steps from the jetty) where all the details were explained and there were carts to help carry our gear. Kris recommended some great places to visit with the boat and she was absolutely right.On board everything was explained to us clearly and the boat was in top condition with everything you might need - and then some! We were very impressed. After a quick practical demonstration they left us to it and we were away.The lake has many great spots to visit and we found a great secluded bay that was quiet and the water was like glass. With fantastic sunny weather a family picnic on the front deck was so relaxing and pleasurable.Finally it was time to return to Wangi and Kris met us (and even carried my parent's stuff back to their car!) Mum said customer service was 15 out of 10!All throughout Kris and Ros couldn't do enough. This really is a hassle free and friendly way of seeing Lake Macquarie. We felt safe at all times and have memories to last a lifetime.Thanks very much for looking after us so well.

From beginning to end, we could not fault the warm service and amazing experience that Wangi & Beyond provided! It was an easy, straight forward and unique experience that we will never forget! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a special little getaway.

We had such a great time, the boat was very clean, and well equipped.The friendly service was great and nothing was a problem.We will definitely be back.

We just spent an amazing 2 nights in Winter on Lake Macquarie thanks to Wangi and Beyond Houseboats. As a total novice to boating, Kris was on call to help out at any time (and all of these calls were regarding user errors). His experience of his boats is second to none, and he knows these boats back to front.We picked up our houseboat on Friday evening, and managed to venture all the way through to Warners Bay. On the Saturday, we had some of our guests disembark, and other get on, we spent the day cruising around the lake, finding some spots that I never knew existed. Exploring the lake was enjoyed by both young and old.Having travelled the world, this was an experience so close to home I can’t believe I have never done before.The condition and comfort of the boat was beyond our expectations. Being the middle of Winter, we were a little concerned about the boat being freezing, but it was actually quite warm inside. During the day, we sat outside in shorts and t shirts, and at night, rugged up and sat outside. The peacefulness of the lake in Winter was beautiful.We had our 4 year old daughter, and a 7 year old friend who had an amazing time, and actually put their devices down to look around. They enjoyed cooking on the BBQ, and they were excited to go to bed to get a chance to sleep on a boat.If you are looking for a family holiday that your kids will remember for the rest of their life, have a chat to Kris and Ros at Wangi and Beyond houseboats.

Wow! Amazing, friendly customer service helped us to the boat with our luggage/supplies, then recommended places we should anchor according to the weather conditions. THEN checked-in with us later to ensure we had found a comfortable spot for the night - which was super comforting as we aren't 'boat people'. Great weekend away with the kids, will definitely be booking again with Wangi and Beyond!
