This bridge is one of the oldest surviving swing bridges in Australia, being constructed between 1880-1883, and is regarded as one of the engineering wonders of Gippsland, being able to swing through 360 degrees.It has been well restored to its original state and has many information signs around it. A very scenic place.

Can be accessed two different ways. Would have liked to time it when they open the bridge up. Information boards with photos were worth a read.

Interesting piece of history just a short detour off the highway. Can't drive over it but you can walk. No toilet facilities that I could see. It is still operated twice a week, on Saturdays I think.

A great piece of engineering and an informative stop-off for those looking to embrace some history in the area. Plenty of information boards and parking on both sides of the bridge. Somewhat flooded in early spring at the time of visiting, but still interesting nonetheless. Some beautiful views of the waterway from the bridge too.
