My girls have been at Toorak for 12 years, starting from 3 year old ELC. I could not speak highly enough of the staff at Toorak in particular their commitment to helping my girls to realise their full potential. A truly inclusive and supportive environment.

I have been at this school since kindergarten and I despise it. That may seem like a strong word but if your daughter/son is quiet/shy or gets nervous easily do not send them to this school. I'm moving next year. Where do I start? How about the sexism in Wardle House. It is absolutely clear that Toorak will do anything to stop boys from getting recognition. My brother had to move because of this and Toorak will lose money because of this horrible decision that they've made. My brother got full marks on his science test and was not presented an award even though three other girls got the award who achieved the same score as him. No honour books were given out to boys in Wardle House, despite their hard work. The male toilet was demolished in the sports building, forcing the young boys to all change in a tiny disabled bathroom all at once. My mother has complained about this many times but school staff have been told to ignore her. My mum attempted to confront my brother's teacher about the award situation and he turned away and didn't face her. It was unbelievable that a teacher acted like that, especially to a parent.

My daughter started in ELC this year and I couldn't speak more highly of Toorak College. Their facilities, staff and approach to nurturing young learners is unlike any school I have experienced. Seeing the confidence my daughter has already developed in her relatively short time at Toorak, along with the opportunities she has been offered, is inspiring and heartwarming. The leadership and the culture developed by Kristy Kendall is inclusive, collaborative and diverse and I couldn't be happier as a parent knowing my daughter is in the very best of hands for her education journey.

The teachers and staff at Toorak College are amazing. They are supportive, encouraging and help the students be their best. We are so happy with our choice to school our two children at Toorak.

Our experiences at Toorak College over the past 9 years have been exceptional. The pastoral care shown to both of our daughters, throughout their years in the Junior School and Senior School, has been outstanding. They have been supported to reach their potential both academically and personally by wonderful staff who genuinely cared for their wellbeing as well as their academic and sporting development. They were encouraged to embrace every opportunity offered to them. We know they have been well prepared for the bright futures that lay ahead of them and will have lifelong friends to share their memories of their school days at Toorak with.

Went here from years 1 through 5 and left in 2014. must say, the negative memories outweigh the positives 10 fold. I often remember being bullied with little being done about it, teachers raising their voice and giving off a demeanor that would kill my want to learn from my errors and advance further in the curriculum, some god awful pretentious classmates that will try look for anything to humiliate you for and the uniform code by god, a teacher notices a minor fault in your school uniform and its instantly > sleeves too high" "tuck your shirt in" "wheres your tie" "your shoes don't fit uniform code" this to me was a major bummer and it really bugged me the times it happened

Outstanding. From the Head of the School to all the teachers I have been in contact with throughout the Junior School...simply the best. They have a plan for everything especially during the Pandemic. It was if my son was in a class room. Since they have been back to school this year, on campus, the school has stepped it up another notch. If you are considering you options, including Toorak, to me there is only one choice...Toorak Collage

This school in words is the epitome of depressive thoughts, organ failure, the colour brown, the stench of vomit and the feeling of falling off a building in your sleep.School makes funds super high just to waste the money on a fancy roof of a science building or a feature no one will notice while the money could be spent on: working heaters in classrooms for the winter, nonsee through school uniform shirts, and glue sticks that aren’t as dry as my conversations in their made up subjects

I have two daughters at Toorak College, one in the junior school, Wardle House the other in the senior school. When the covid crisis hit Australia and more specifically the education sector Toorak College, lead astonishingly well by its board and Principal Mrs Kristy Kendall, moved the entire school programme onto their own online platform. Despite the obvious challenges faced by parents in general trying to fill in for teachers during the Covid lockdowns, Toorak College and its staff went over and beyond in maintaining the educational standards of the school and kept its students engaged, challenged and cared for under extraordinary circumstances. Being a Dad of a seven year old and fifteen year old and with both girls being at vulnerable stages in their education I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to Toorak College for the support they gave to both my girls during remote learning, the communication delivered to us as parents by the school and the commitment of the staff in general to all the students, staff who themselves were dealing with their own lives and families during such a devastating period. The Covid crisis has had an impact on all of us, but I will forever be grateful to Toorak College for successfully guiding my girls and family through one of the hardest times in all our lives.
