I only tried the bread and butter pudding and 2 types of bread, but everything looked delightful!!If I lived closer, I'd love to try all the items available! The taste was great :)Prices were ok. Boutique bakery prices.Nice location on the way to the Blue Mountains or just for a drive in a pretty area :)The man who served me was not personable at all and I dare say a bit grumpy....I mean they are called the grumpy baker, but I'd think they shouldn't need to live up to the name!!

Stopped on the way up to mt wilson for pastries and had to stop on the way back for the pies. Do not miss this place on your way, the wait in line is worth it. Highly recommend the Nutella Cronut, the chunky steak pie and the garlic olive sourdough. There is limited seating inside and a few picnic tables outside. Will stop by again when we pass through!

The cakes, pastries and wares were nice. Good flavours, but expect Eastern Suburbs prices for small portions. The pies have a great flavour base, although I'm yet to see these new 'artisan' bakers use butter-puff anymore. Was very disappointed the chicken is brown thigh.. it's not 1970 any more, breast can be prepared to hold flavour better than fatty thigh. The breads are good, the sour-dough has a good zest, crust and fairly consistent crumb with not too many large voids.

Awesome spot to stop if you are passing by. My partner had the goulash beef pie and loved it, and because it loved it so much had to try another of their pies, the Moroccan lamb pie, delicious too.I’m vegan so I didn’t get to try the pies but the banana bread was nice too.Good chai and beautiful coffee.

Delicious apple pie with rich cinnamon aroma. I wish I could get a cup of whipped cream separately… that would be peeerfect :)I got a fig & walnut loaf as a souvenir, which was really nice, too.

Excellent latte and belgian chocolate cake. No toilet here. If you want pit stop, drive westbound 500mm and rest area is on your right
