Great Northern Hwy Parking
This bay was big enough to fit wide loads.Its a shame there aren't more.The main problem with most of these bays is the cleanliness. Main Roads or local council need to clean these wayside stops properly.Its disgusting the state of some bays. Why would you want to stop when youre surrounded by rubbish.Some are as bad as excrement is an issue.Some dont have facilities to class these bays as rest stops. No shade, tables/ chairs.Local and state government. Get your act together and make it a pleasure to tour this state

The height restrictions noted on the website are incorrect. At some points it is as low as 1.75m. The pricing is also not clear. The weekend rates are not $25 per exit. It’s $25 per day. On the weekend it’s a nightmare trying to find a space and there’s absolutely no one around to help you - particularly problematic if they valet parked your car and have your keys!
