Dan Murphy's New Town

Had an accident at Dan Murphy’s car park. There is a rebar on the parking stop wheel thing and it nearly pull of my front bumper. I was told by one of the manager that she will contact me later, but still not hear anything…. Be careful guys!

I think you guys need to change your saying regarding pick up it says come on spot and show your id, open boot and representative would keep it. But last three times i have ordered they don’t do the same way we need to get out and put in car moreover they ask to get stock from inside and help them.Thanks

Dan Murphy himself would be proud. Great staff, great selection, well priced.I am being savage holding back one star, as the security guard wouldn't high five me. Harsh... but fair.

While getting into the carpark can be a bit chaotic at times, once inside they have everything you could need, and the friendly staff are always on hand to help.Tastings are held quite often, and the variety is mammoth. They have a particularly good range of local Tassie wines and spirits, at a price point for everyone. You can browse the app, and order for pick up, or even get it delivered if you are in desperate need. Also a large range of chilled wines, beers, ciders and others. Specials are usually well priced and very competitive. What more coul you want?

Easy parking, anything alcohol related you would ever need including instruments for mixing cocktails etc. Plenty of staff around to help you, and all seemed happy and friendly. Prices were competitive with other bottle shops. Members card / program for member only specials.

I've never had such an awful experience in my whole life. Foreigners beware. Myself, my partner and our friend went to purchase alcohol. Myself and my partner have tasmanian driver's licenses, whilst the friend has an international license. We were refused because the friend didnt have an Australian driver's license and told to come back with his passport. They also refused his passport on his phone. He can drive with his international license here, he's even purcahsed alcohol with it before... it's entirely in English.... he wasn't buying anything anyway. We asked if he left could we purchase the alcohol? we were told no. If we leave and come back without him could we purchase the alcohol? We were told no, because we first walked in with him. Went somewhere else and purchased the alchol with no problem, accepted his ID fine. Never again will we shop at Dan Murphys.
