Couldn't ask for better hosts, Dave and Dawn are fabulous. Food is fantastic, great little spot to spend a weekend.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Smelly rooms, blood stane in the sink, red water comes out first persumably because of the rust in the sink. The owners gave our second keys to a guy they knew in the town and intererupted our sleep. Payed $50 a head per night for this service. The breakfast was disgraceful with the bread being mouldy and the cereal being in a plastic container that was half open. Then to top it off it had a communal shower that I couldn’t stand in properly because my feet were too big for it. And a communal tv room that didn’t pick up some channels. Completely disgusting place.

My room was clean and fresh, the meal was amazing, a gigantic steak with chips and salad only $18, friendly service and these guys went out of their way to see we had everything we needed. Had a great stay, love this place and will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely do not read the old and bad reviews! We rode into town, welcomed with great food & clean and comfortable room! Everything a country pub needs! Plus very accommodating to bike riders (stored bikes in the pub no issues)

Took a visiting friend to the hotel for dinner. The meals were disgusting. The beef schnitzel was so thin that I think it was triple crumbed to make it look bigger, the chicken schnitzel was so hard that I actually wondered how old it was. Our friend had the mixed grill and I could see by the way he tried to chew the meat and then took it out of his mouth and put it on his plate. An embarrassment for us. We will never set foot in the palce again. I would rather drive to Kapunda, where the publicans treat their customers better. No wonder there are no customers in this hotel.

Stayed overnight on a work tripHad to ring and say we would be late getting thereArrived and they cooked us a lovely chicken Parmi even though kitchen should have closed by then.Meal and cold beers were great.Neat and tidy room good hot shower.The two D's were fantastic hostsEnjoyed my very short stay and will return again for sure.
