Don’t waste your time using carbar, honestly they’re a shambles of a company. My van been leaking oil for months they’ve ignored emails & calls then tell me I have a matter of days to get it to the garage or I’ll breach my contract and don’t offer any means of hire vehicles they also fraudulently passed the pink slip after it had failed at the mechanics when it went in for a service. Customer care is honestly the most useless over ever used no idea why people keep saying they’re nice and easy to communicate they must just take your money to be nice then not bother after that. Do not use this company you’ll regret it

The team at Car bar have been amazing to deal with.there service was amazing and fast, The team is always on the phone to assist. Since i have my own business, this was the most cost effective option which was out there.Great work the Ed and his team.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - FAIRTRADING INVOLVED.Car was late to be delivered by over 2 weeks, no mention of this from signup.First service took over two weeks, they still had the nerve to charge me the subscription fee for that. During the second service they charged me for new tires despite the fact they never consulted me about it, only the Mechanic at the end of the service who explained that the original tires where the wrong size.Then cancelled my subscription weeks after.The billing department seemingly doesn't understand English as requests get ignored / forgotten. Getting calls even after I handed the car back over asking if they can pick up the car. Internal communication is practically non-existent. Mystery fees appearing on invoices that I will have to chase with Carbar.Carbar want's to charge me for damage to the interior, even though they don't do interior condition report on delivery or pickup.So overall we have:- Late delivery times / broken promises- Long servicing times, no compensation. (they wanted $$$ though)- Billing department regularly ignore requests- Mystery invoice charges- Wrong parts fitted to the car that I was deemed responsible for- Charges for damage on an area of the car that wasn't inspected before or after.See you at fair-trading Carbar. I have all the evidence to back up these claims, do you?

Initial experience was good and Craig Austin the salesman was really helpful in the initial process of buying the car. The vehicle was missing the service books, however it was promised and warranted that it would be provided as the vehicle being sold was a fleet vehicle and carbar knew about the service history. After weeks of following this up, the responses from Carbar and Craig Austin stopped completely. I have tried calling up the customer service operators and they have said that they would provide an update on the status of the logbooks however I have not received any follow up phone calls. Honestly, what started off as a really pleasant interaction has just become extremely frustrating and Carbar's lack of customer help after a sale especially when items were promised to be part of the sale is just very disappointing.

Purchased a vehicle through George who was incredibly accomodating, professional and courteous. George went out of his way to ensure that the process was smooth and took care of things beyond his need to do so, like ensuring that my custom plates were transferred to the new vehicle on my behalf (ordinarily something the buyer has to arrange). George was never pushy, just very accomodating and courteous and I have a great deal of respect and appreciation for the manner in which he conducted himself. I would highly recommend George and the team at Carbar Autos.

I cannot recommend Craig, Alan and all at Carbar highly enough. After having looked for my ideal car for a few months, I found it at Carbar via Carsales. It was immaculately presented, CarSales verified, and extremely good value. The sales process was awesome – Craig went out of his way to make me feel comfortable, didn't pressure me at all, gave me an excellent trade in and arranged fantastic finance that came through almost immediately. He threw in a year's rego and a number of accessories as well. Everything was finalised within an hour! If only purchasing vehicles was as easy, reassuring and simple as this. Everyone involved wasn't just professional and transparent but really friendly and great to deal with. Will definitely be purchasing from the wonderful team at Carbar again, and highly recommend them for their excellent product and process.

I was going to stay in Australia several months and thought that there had to be a service that sits somewhere between a full car ownership and car hire. That is how I came across Carbar, a car subscription service. Their reviews were favourably.I filled out an application form for subscription on my iPad one Sunday afternoon. It was straight forward. I got notified on Tuesday that my application was successful. By Thursday, my car was confirmed and by next Monday, my car was delivered home.It was that easy.Returning the car three months later was the same. Easy.Carbar is an attractive proposition to consumers. Good selection of cars. Simple process. All inclusive, reasonable price (much better than car hire). Fantastic customer service.It is ideal for getting a car for several months. Highly recommend Carbar.

Beware beware beware! Super dodgy behaviour. Had to return car because insurance had expired. Had light cosmetic damages, general wear and tare. Tried to debit $8.5k out of our account. No quote was provided but was provided with an invoice with no details other than price. Will not provide itemised invoice or proof that quotes were obtained. Beware beware beware!!
