Wandering Tavern | Founded in 1913 Wandering Tavern has a warm, friendly atmosphere. The gathering place for friends and family to enjoy food, drinks and have a great time. We're a small tavern with a big menu and in-house chef. Kids love our friendly goats too.

Food was delicious with very generous serving sizes. Great outdoor seating and even a fenced in grassy area for kids. Only fault was the staff member who served us; she seemed to be incredibly miserable which made for an awkward ordering experience.

Food was amazing. Very good portions and very well priced. Extensive menu caters for all tastes. I had Chilli Mussels and the sauce was mouth watering. Would definitely recommend dining here. We will return . Thank you Janet and Charlie see you next time.

A wonderful country pub. Plenty of choice in food and drinks. Good size meals that were delicious. The owners and staff made us feel welcome and their service made sure we'll be back.

Amazing Food! This gem hidden of the main road is worth the detour if you’re looking for a feed, it might not look like much form the road but the food was top notch. I was staying and working in Boddington when a local suggested the wandering tavern was a good place for a feed and he was not wrong… much to my wife’s horror I had the chilli muscles which in her mind is a bad idea that far from the ocean…they were amazing and a massive serve, I made every one wait for me to finish my meal as I was not willing to leave anything behind. Next time I am out that way I will be stopping by.

If 6 stars was an option id give 6!Pulled in here while on our travels and were so glad we did...often the OL country pub has lost its charm to commercialism and unfortunately being forced to move with modern times to compete with a modern market.The wandering tavern is nice and tidy and has plenty of spacious seating inside, pool table, bar seating as well as a beer garden and outside seating all while maintaining its country pub charm!Doggo is welcome in the beer garden and the locals warming their pew at the bar are welcoming and more than happy for a chat...Plenty of selection on the menu and the two ladies (bar and chef) certainly seem to have everything under control. The chef was more than accommodating to my wifes gluten allergies and although the menu didnt necessarily specify GF options the girls had great knowledge of what could happen to meet the desired requirements.The burgers were excellent, great value for money, clean amenities and plenty of parking for the big rigs as well.Thanks for you hospitality and we hope to call through asapCheers
