One of my favourite hidden gems in Melbourne. Great place to buy second hand books at very reasonable prices, or brows around and enjoy the smell of old books. Friendly staff that will help with all kind of inquiries. They open everyday except Sunday, so keep that in mind if you plan on visiting.

Great place to buy second hand books in good condition for a relatively reasonable price. Theres a huge selection of books that range from different genres, there’s a book for every interest. The staff are very friendly and the store itself is quiet and peaceful. I 100% recommend paying a visit.

Totally agree with another review; this place is amazing for browsing and if you're not looking for anything too specific. They are in categories though so not difficult to find particular kinds of books. I spent ages in here looking at the collection of history books they have. The shop is bigger than it looks and the books are decently priced.

Huge collection of books of all genres. Some were a little overpriced as they had pen marks etc through them. Otherwise, highly recommend. One of the last genuine second hand book stores in Melbourne.

A book lovers dream! Never have I seen such a large and varied collection of books before. The shelves are so overflowing that there are stacks of books everywhere. A wide collection of both fiction and non-fiction. Very easy to spend a couple of hours browsing in here, and you would still miss books. The workers are helpful if you ask, otherwise you get left alone to browse and get lost in the books which is perfect. Very close in Flinders station. Already planning my next visit.

Only gripe was that it was Unclear how much books are, I initially thought i was overcharged $2 on one because it had a $5 sticker still left on it , but it's a second hand book store with great selection and vibes, an interesting selection- so what more can I expect?

Went for the first time recently and I thought it was fabulous. Absolutely crammed with second hand books. It was very quiet and peaceful in the store. I was only in a one hour car park and therefore couldn't browse everything that I wanted. Could have easily spent double that time in there. I will return soon.

A very unassuming hole in the wall that leads down to a brilliant, large second hand book store. Most books in very good condition. Organized into sections and subsections. Very decent prices. Seemed to have every type of books except business/computers (what I was after). Anyway - lovely place!
