I would love to give this cafe 5 stars because the food is great, I had shashuka eggs and it’s on point and what you would expect, fresh, delicious and full of flavour, good food takes time, but the wait time is ridiculous, even for my coffee it took 20 mins (coffee is very good) to add to this wait time the order was wrong and this has happened the last time we visited, but again the food is good. 2/5 because I felt very annoyed that the second time I’ve chosen this cafe and again I am dissatisfied.

The staff are lovely and very attentive. Too many tables you feel in the way of everyone else. The smashed avo is not Good and they clearly use bottled lemon juice instead of fresh.

Bay Cafe Watsons Bay
A great little cafe by Watson Bay with friendly staff and excellent service. The filly cheese steak sandwich and wrap was filling and the coffee was nice and warm too! No on-site toilet you'll need a key and go around the corner. Overall awesome cafe and would recommend.

One of the best cafes I’ve been to - amazing food (shakshouka and big bay breakfast) and coffee.Loved the personal touch from the very friendly owner who remembered me and my partner although we had only been twice during our 3-week holiday.Great place to stop over for coffee/food when visiting Watsons Bay and the surrounding areas!

It was such a beautiful experience at the Bay Cafe and we enjoyed every minute we spent there. Great coffee, delicious food and such a lovely service by their staff.

Bay Cafe Watsons Bay
Today I visited 'bay cafe' for having brunch. I ordered beef burger and sweet potato chips but I received potato chips because the staff was confused with the order. So I told him, and he said sorry and immediately he made sweetpotato chips and he gave me so much. Actually, potato chip's flavour was good so I tried not to tell him, but I thought it would be better if I told him, and his response was great. And also, beef burger was so great!! I want to go again!!

If what you are looking for is a place for breakfast on the weekend in an intimate atmosphere and with simply fantastic, sensitive and humane service, this is the place.The owner makes you feel at ease, looks you in the eye, smiles a real smile and serves you with the greatest care, the dishes are generous, beautiful and delicious.We were also served by another attendant, Consuelo, a super friendly and charismatic Argentine.We recommend anyone visiting Sydney to go to this charming little cafe.

Bay Cafe Watsons Bay
Stumbled on this unpretentious little gem of a place on a visit to Watsons Bay. The meat pies were fresh out of the oven and tasted as good as they looked; the mango smoothie was sublime; and the service couldn't have been more friendly. All in all, a wonderful experience!
