My daughter plays high level junior tennis. After coming back from overseas 6 months ago we decided to try Vince Barclays for training and match play to improve her game further.After being to numerous academies overseas this academy is a stand out. The atmosphere and the experience of Vince Barclay (Professional coach) and his son David Barclay (ATP player) is top quality. The training my daughter was provided by Vince and David Barclay is high quality tennis. The high performance squad training is exactly how it should be. It’s challenging, high intensity and fun. My daughter has greatly improved from their training sessions and match play.Not to mention the shop inside with shoes, clothes, racquet everything you need.The atmosphere and hospitality of match play is fantastic it’s organised and everything runs on time and Tomoko Barclay is an amazing host. She is always helping parents and players and making sure it’s a great day for them. Vince Barclay is always out there giving advice and supporting every kid on match play day.The family has alot of experience in the tennis world. If you are looking for high quality training or match play at any age and a great atmosphere then this is the place! Could not recommend them more.

I love the VB tennis academy actually all my family loves it. We are always welcomed and feels like home. Both kids have been getting private lessons from Vince and Yuko for years. Not only I can see a substantial improvement in their game but also they are both learning essential life lessons as they are growing up like sense of responsibility, good manners and being more independent.And yes there are clay tennis courts, clay is great for tennis development! Not to forget of 3 brand new hardcours!Would not be a Pro tennis academy without meeting some of the tennis legends and current top 100 ATP players who regularly play on these awesome courts.

We travel up from Canberra/Queanbeyan to play in these well run Vince Barclay events. Fantastic courts & fantastic people who run them! It’s worth the 3 hour drive up & 3 hour drive home to get quality matches in a safe & friendly environment. We love it!

Please show some respect for these amazing facilities. Vince and his team hosted the BBT Cup late last year. Far and away the best tennis tournament I’ve ever been to. They over-delivered in every aspect of the event. Congratulations. Keep up the outstanding work and the world-class facilities.

I've played here a couple of times and all the courts have been in great condition.Bear in mind this is a family run business by Vince Barclay. One of the last standing businesses in Sydney with values and principles.Before you head out to play, I encourage heading into the shop and reading the framed quotes placed inside. The humour and words of encouragement are nothing short of inspirational. Never stop being you Vince.To the negative reviews regarding 'rudeness' remember this - being offended is the position of a child.

My son has been attending the Vince Barclay Tennis Academy for the past year and I could not be more impressed with the quality of coaching and overall experience. Vince Barclay Tennis is a family owned business which sets it apart from other tennis facilities. David is by far the best tennis coach I’ve ever worked with and his father Vince gave me an opportunity of a life time to train at the academy out of the kindness of his heart when I was 15 years of age. Vince saw potential in me as a youngster and asked absolutely nothing in return. I am forever grateful for the opportunities this family has given me over the years.Some of the one star reviews don’t reflect the true nature of this tennis academy. There’s two sides to every stories and knowing the Barclay family I can confidently say they have your best interest at heart as long as you follow the rules and act accordingly.

As someone who works for NSW sport I don’t know how this place is still standing. Most of the courts here are old and need to be rebuilt. They are all very slippery and the place is very old. The toilets are not well cleaned and the owner is very rude and even physically touching the children of this club. There is a lot of sarcasm involved as well. Vince is absolutely awful and even disciplines the kids. Most of the balls used are very old and I got 5 pairs of tennis shoes and every single one of them were destroyed. I will be mentioning this at my next Sport Club meeting at the NSW Sports office.Very disappointing
