Dropped in for a counter lunch before getting back on the road. Nice pub with very friendly staff.Ordered a chicken Parmi and it was perfect. Would recommend this as a great place to have a rest.

At least it was open, unlike many on our journey home to Perth from Albany. Could definitely do with some music & atmosphere to enhance this pub. It's OK!

I just had a meal with my daughter and grandson. The meal was OK and the food was OK. No atmosphere, which doesn't matter if you are just popping in for a quick bite, but it doesn't make you want to hang around for one more drink.

My partner said his fish was the nicest he's had in ages! I had pork ribs that we're OK but I've had better. Meals came out quickly and staff very pleasant.

Honestly I’m into staying at old pubs but this accom is so bare (what happened to all the old furniture anyway) - just a bed and a heater in the room overlooking the roof corner. Please add lamps by the bed so reading is possible. Shared bathroom was fine. Shared kitchen was pretty bad with a giant bucket of dirty dishes, old food in frying pan and rice cooker. The pub looks vital to the town which is great and the meals were okay but upstairs could be so much more. Overpriced at 115, like everything atm.
