I came in for a tyre replacement. Willie said I need to leave the wheel to repair the minor damage and to come back the next day. When I returned he charged an extra $50 for wheel repair, even though he said, No extra charge" the previous day. When I challenged him on this

Willie is a very experienced mechanic who are humble n give practical advice about my car . He explained very well what needed to be done . Even before the job is started , they will send me a general idea what are needed to be done n the fee that would b charged . I have been going to Dr Car from the time they opened the shop . Always feel happy for their good service .

Way too expensive for the jobs done, completely out of touch with what to charge. Over $400 for an oil change. Snapped a wheel bearing off the wheel, did not claim responsibly for using unnecessary force and wanted to charge us over $400 to fix it. Do not take your car here, plenty of better options.

Had to get a blue slip. He charged $100, even though the price is set by fair trade to $66. He failed the car on the most stupid things, like a broken aerial.Then offered to fix all the problems for $2000!!!!! on a $500 car.He is a rip off merchant. Find somewhere else.Took it somewhere else and all done for $300 including the new blue slip.

Years ago, by chance, we happened across Willy working out of his Castle Hill shop, we followed him to Forestville, and kept servicing through him, because he is such a gem & honest as the day is long.If we encountered a major expense Willy would do the research & find a cheaper option, he would give an honest opinion of the pros and cons of each option.When it came to faults that were intermittent, he didn't change parts speculating what was wrong, and charge us each time. He gave an explanation of the thought process, asked us to note specific observations down on the next occasion the car had the problem, & continued to refine the diagnosis. He was available on the phone to clarify troubleshooting when we needed it.You will not a more honest & transparent mechanic.V50 Volvo

One of the engine mounts was broken. Took to Dr Car, was told both mounts were broken and was quoted $585. Searched internet it says unlikely all mount could break at the same time. I asked my Car back for 2nd opinion. Dr Car hold my car for 5 days and asked me to make a payment of $71.23 for the quote which was never mentioned when I asked for a quote!!! Anyway, there were dishonesty on two accounts here, first quote for some thing that never needed work done, and 2nd, charged for quotation which was not agreed upon at the first place! I had my car back and got the mount that was broken for less than $300 with genuine Honda part. The car still drives without any problem.

Extremely pleased with every aspect of dealing with Willy and his wife. The best communication I’ve ever received from a service centre, great attention to detail and honest transparent pricing. Would highly recommend.
