We used Southern Timber floors as they had been recommended to us by our builder and we are so thrilled we did! Our floor is beautiful! We get so many compliments.From the start going to meet Ben at the showroom to the Installation, sanding coating the whole process over the whole journey was simple and without an issue.I would highly recommend Southern Timber Floors.

Absolutely brilliant! Southern Timber did our original floors over 9 years ago in our new-build. It was actually the thing that drew us to the house at first - was the gorgeous timber flooring. Southern timber did a fabulous job then - and 9 years later, after needing to remove the carpet from our master bedroom - Ben and his crew installed our new firestreak hardwood floor.He and the team were so professional, whilst being warm and approachable. Underpromising and overdelivering is how I would describe this business.It was so refreshing to have someone say, we'll be there next week, actually turn up when they said they would, do the job they said they would do - and leave behind a gorgeous timber floor. Ben was communicative at every turn, his tradesmen were excellent - and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Their prices were fair, and Ben even followed up to see how we liked it.Old world service with current day professionalism. So good!!!As you can tell, we are fans, and for good reason. So many dodgy flooring mobs out there, don't waste your time. I literally contacted Ben on the Monday, they started the following week and we moved back into the room, the week after that. What a whirlwind of delight the whole process was.

Well, we are so glad we remembered the business name when it was suggested to us while planning to build a new house. Why? Because we did not build, we purchased an existing timber cottage in Mount Eliza and decided to renovate. Southern Timber Floors came through with the goods; beautiful Tassie oak timber, delivered on time, great tradie recommendation to do subfloors, floor perfectly laid and finished. Southern Timber Floors have been a pleasure to deal with.Their great range of samples in their Mornington Showroom made it easy to choose a wood we liked.Susan provided a quote which we thought was good value.We think our Tasmanian Oak floor looks wonderful with its long lengths of real wood. Friendly, responsive, highly efficient and extremely helpful. We went to the showroom and discussed the looks and pros and cons of solid timber or oak veneered Timbers. Ben has a very good range of many options and various Timbers. From then on every stage was efficient and incredible workmanship. The floor looks fantastic!

Cannot recommend Southern Timber Floors enough. Very helpful working out the details, very reasonable quote, absolutely amazing quality install and brilliant engineered spotted gum product. Of all the building works done for our renovation, the organisation for and the install of the engineered flooring stands out in so many respects as the best. Don't use anyone else!

We have recently done a new build, with Southern Timber Floors laying Tassie Driftwood boards. They are the stand out of our coastal build, and are always the first feature that people comment on when they walk through our house. They are fantastic for our three children, two dogs and lots of high traffic visitors through the house. They are easy to clean and very smooth and warming on our feet.
