The options, servings and of course, food, was perfect for us, we cleaned our plates with full tummies. The service was quick and the food presentation was beautiful. Will definitely come back.

We had crispy pata, sizzling pinakbet, kare kare and lomiGreat tasting food. Great ambience.Though the lomi that we ordered does not have a thick soup. It was served looking like a chicken mami.But still, will come back here next time.

The karekare and the crunchy pork are so delicious. Why cook when you can have it this good! What made the dining experience so enjoyable was the readiness of the staff and the chef to accomodate our requests. 5stars for the staff tonight. We will definitely dine here again next time we are in Canberra.

Been to the Philippines. I tried the food there and it was delicious. I ordered takeaway from this restaurant. When l checked it, it was a great disappointment. The food was filled up to the bottom of the container, not hardly much in it. The food doesn't even taste good. Whoever cooked the food. Did not cooked it properly. They are ripped off. The price is not worth it. This restaurant is greedy. Better to eat in Chinese restaurant. Atleast they are generous with their serving and the food is delicious.

We ordered 5 seperate items from the menu and not a single one was a let down. The portions were fantastic and well worth the price. Not to mention, staff were so kind, helpful in explaining the menu and very quick to bring things to our table. I can’t wait to go back especially for the karaoke Friday

My husband, daughter and I are from out of town and found Papa J’s by chance. I can say without hesitation that it was as if the universe guided us to this restaurant. In fact, the only thing that was better than the food was the staff. They were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we entered the door and recommended dishes to us that did not disappoint. Every dish was fresh, delicious and full of flavour. Would come back to Canberra just to go to Papa J’s. A big thank you to the staff for the wonderful meal. We will be back!

Fantastic Filipino restaurant in Dickson. We just went for dessert, and the halo halo and leche flan were amazing. Very reasonable prices and the staff were super friendly. Will definitely be going back to check out main dishes next time!!

Good food and with a bit of improvement could be great!Grilled pork belly was flavourful and properly marinated. The salad that came with it is good. Crispy chicken adobo taste good, but can confirm crispy batter doesn't really go well with a classic adobo. Fried rice was ok. Nothing special. The eggplant omelette was visually weird as the egg was green but taste ok. Best part of this dish was the mango salad as that was tasty. Lumpia shanghai taste good but just a tad dry. Sauce helped. Pork BBQ was one of my favourite dish. Good amount of vinegar and quite tender. The baked fish was great! Flavour was there. Wish the fish was de-scaled as fried skin is great. Serving size for all the food is decent.Will definitely come back again to try their other dishes.

Such an awesome vibe little place!We went on Friday night and they had live karaoke. At first I thought it was abit too loud but you drown it out once you start chatting and eating away and thoroughly enjoyed the music! Lovely staff. And All the meals we ordered were amaziiing!!!!!

Fantastic food, really lovely staff. The loaded fries and tofu are definitely highlights. A hidden gem in Dickson - we will be going back
