Hats off to the barber who wears the flat hat. He did a great job and took a moment to check which way my hair grows before my cut. Best cut I've had in a while. Quite impressed seeing that he is an apprentice.

Zayne the barber cut my son's hair who is 3.5 years old and did an amazing job cutting a lightening bolt into the side. My son was honestly so stoked and the result was exactly as the picture we showed him that my son had chosen. He was professional, very patient with my son and did a great job. The shop was clean, everyone was friendly and the price was very reasonable. 100% would go again. Thank you!

Had an awesome experience here, specifically with Kyle.Kyle was friendly, knowledgeable and recommended some barbers back in Melbourne as I told him I don’t like the inconsistency I get there. Kyle gave the best all round cut and beard trim I’ve had in a long time and the price was reasonable, also filled me in on some beard care products!Next time im in Brisbane I’ll be coming to see him!

Zayne was a legend. I requested a razor fade and beard trim. He did the job perfectly and asked the right questions to make sure I was getting exactly what I was after. Super chill vibe and enjoyed the banter and relaxed atmosphere. The shop was clean and tidy and the complimentary beverage upon entering was great. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Love the consistent results I get from this barbershop regardless of who is doing the cut. Would highly recommend.

Popped into HMB by chance this afternoon. Warmly welcomed and given a complementary can of Pepsi Max. Waited for a little bit and then Matt, an apprentice, started cutting my hair. We immediately struck up a good rapport, which is nice. Not being funny.I wanted a short back and sides, with the fringe going backwards, if that makes sense. Usually my fringe has gone to the right.My hair has a mind of it's own as I've gone through cancer twice.Matt kept going with a great deal of confidence.Towards the end Zane,a trained hairdresser came and tidied some things up, which I appreciated.So, a big thanks to Matt, I'm sure he'll go far in the business and also to Zane.I thoroughly recommend this business.

Well, I've been here a few times and all went well. However, today I popped in at 5.30pm (they close at 6pm) and a couple of barbers (girls, don't know their names) told me they could not cut my hair because they would have to pack up their stuff and leave.What about the numerous signs stating last walk-ins no later than 20 minutes before closing time? Wasn't 30min early enough?I'll try another day/time, when the boys are in.Not everybody can afford coming earlier due to work commitments. Frustrating...
