Mario's at San Remo
Enjoyed all the traditional Italian dishes (not all shown below), large serves, fresh produce (especially the die for white bait) deliciously cooked, prompt entrees and before we knew it mains were with us too. Thanks Mario and team

Food was well presented, fresh, hot and served fairly quickly. Prices are in the upper range for Phillip Island area- steak $50+ - pasta $25+, 3 of us had entree pasta each, a bowl chips, 3 soft drinks =$95. Servings were fairly generous, but pasta is pasta, had to ask for cheese on pasta which seemed a chore for them. Can be noisy on weekends, don't rely on menu in reviews as it is 2years old and has gone up dramatically. Good for a special occasion or date night maybe

We where advice to visit Italian type restaurant. Unfortunately, there was nothing Italian and they abuse this name.Garlic shrimps came with rice???? Steak and duck where with same sides. Nothing special. They cant call themselves restaurant. A decent cantene I would say, only they must adjust prices...The only thing what good - the WINE. This I recommend Purple Hen pinot noir.

Amazing food, great quality food and generous portions. Use of fresh local seafood. They are super generous with the seafood in the seafood linguini and the prawn and chorizo linguini!Very friendly and attentive service.Can’t wait to go back. (We went back a couple nights later)Oh and did I mention the sticky date pudding!! You HAVE to try it, OMG!

One of the best Italian food eaten. Service was good too. The highlight of the meal was sticky date pudding, a must-eat item for any one eating there.

Excellent service, excellent food. I’m from Singapore. Came here with my family (4 of us in all) and had a comforting meal after a cold evening at the Philip Island Penguin Parade. Tiramisu was the best I had in a long time. Loved the fried scallops - it was a special main course item but they were willing to do ir as an entree. Portions are big for my family so we shared

Lovely traditional Italian dinner at Mario's at San Remo. I loved my Veal Scallopini with mushrooms. My partner and their brother shared a huge tomahawk steak from specials. Pasta for the rest of the table. Friendly service, large serves (justifying the price of the meals) and good location. Dining room was full but not too noisy making conversation easy
