I purchased an engagement ring in December. After presenting the ring my partner noticed a flaw in the surface, upon taking the ring back we were told there was no flaw in the stone and it was a natural inclusion in the stone. I still wasn't convinced this was the case and took it to a different jewellers for a second opinion. They identified a chip straight away. John still maintained there was nothing wrong with the gem, after which he hung up on me when I told him i was getting the stone polished through the other jeweller. Very rude and I wouldn't go to a jeweller that won't acknowledge an issue in a gem like that.

over the years have purchased new, had created, remodeled so many pieces and couldn't recommend John highly enough. he has always listened to me and assisted in decisions and purchases and budget.the best jeweller. i live in sydney now and will still go to the shop and take repairs or look for new pieces at his shop when i am in Melbourne. he creates beautiful pieces and his craftsmanship is just amazing.

Honest to goodness family business. Went in for battery replacement for my expensive watch. John did it himself. Reliable -he is efficient friendly. Very reasonably priced!Getting my wife's watch done next. Highly recommended.

Unprofessional and dishonest. My friend was given no receipt or worksheet for items left for work! Did work not requested then lied about it. Instead of admitting fault, blustered and lost temper. Most expensive and sentimental item ruined with no recompense. Have never encountered this level of incompetence and dishonesty in this country.

Wonderful service and advice coupled with a fabulous result.I went in with a very tired and sad engagement ring. Kate and John took the time to advise on best options and the time to then search for matching stones.My ring came back looking fantastic. Am thrilled with the result and would not hesitate to recommend for repairs, rework or new jewellery.
